I was out with Andersons family last night. Can confirm that Harry Anderson, Ollie Adamson, the Burton brothers and TJ Barton have contracts. Surprised at TJ to be honest, but well done to them all.

As someone who watches 16s and 19s I’m really pleased with the quality of this group. There’s some
Real talent amongst them. Another year where good numbers have gone up (13 last year) we seem to have got our act together over the past 2-3 years in regards to player development well done all concerned

Having watched the England u16 lose to France, i am amazed that Joe Burton wasn't chosen amongst a few others.
Hanley was ok but I'm not sure he is a centre and the other centre from Hull didn't offer much.
Leeds halves are much better than McNamara who was chosen at 6.
I think England had only 3-4 players who impressed.

Joe Burton, Oli Burton, Iwan Stephens and Harry Anderson in the England u16's squad to play Wales on Saturday, much changed squad from the one beaten by France recently. Danny Attley also in the squad, but he wasnt announced as one we'd offered an academy contract to.

We just need a coach like Griffin to bring them through in the first team eventually. He has a good record for promoting youth and developing correctly. |
