Yes fair comment as it is at Headers it is our problem so to speak.
My comment was around both sides feeling the pain and both sides having to lose 50% of their allocation seemed fair but I take your point.
I am only peeved that I might miss out on a ticket.
Should have bought a season ticket yes I know before anyone says anything.

| What is the capacity of the Western Terrace, The Southstand, the Carnegie stand & the paddock area in front of the North stand? It must be more than 10000.
I don't see why all of those areas can't be used since all can be accessed away from the Cricket ground side & therefore won't affect the Roses match.
On the matter of noise has anybody heard the crowds in the IPL or those in the Windies (Bridgetown, Barbados especially) during the T20 World Cup? That didn't seem to affect the batsmen so why should the roar of the rugby crowd do that?

It won't affect the batsmen, but it might affect the old dears trying to get an after lunch nap. Have you seen what they're like when the don't get their 40 winks, you'd need an elephant gun to protect yourself, isn't that right McF.

| Quote mirfieldrhino="mirfieldrhino"I'm sure the policy is that the away team gets 'x'% of tickets available, not 'x'% of the stadium's capacity so therefore you should have a smaller allocation than you would if we had the normal 22 000 tickets available.
...and it's any [ifewer[/i tickets.'"
Im sure there is a rule whereby the visiting team get X% of tickets available, anyone know what that is? But if we have been given 2500 and then the capacity is cut by Leeds (althought not their fault), then i dont really see why we should have to hand back tickets. If they had reduced it first and then gave us an allocation of say 1800 to 2000 then it would have been different. But to simply take tickets back of us through no fault of our own isnt fair imo.

I get what your saying but its the same for wigan non season ticket holders. What they should have done is wait until the capacity had been decided and then give us an allocation, but even then anything less then 2000 would be unfair imo.

| The old cynic in me thinks that if it is a sell out - El Presidente will persuade the "independent" safety team to suddenly allow a few thousand more tickets to be sold.
Struggling to think why this time is really any different from the two previous times this has happened, without the need for a capacity reduction.

| Those who did not attend the Blackpool game need not complain at this decision. Those who did attend should have first dibs on tickets, season ticket holders or not.

| I was hoping to get to this game, it being on a Saturday. I don't really understand the alledged health and safety issues. I know I wouldn't want a seat in the Paddock as at last years game that clashed with the cricket anyone sat there missed the first 10 mins of play.
I would give first chice to those who attended the Blackpool game too.
