Reading this thread back is highly amusing.

Back in the early 2000s the motto of the club - highly derided by fans of other teams until c. 2004 - was BELIEVE! After what we have seen so far it seems just as appropriate at the start of the Rohan Smith era...

While having four international props in the squad would be nice, perhaps Smith is proving that balance across the squad is equally if not more important? So much for the southstander 'intelligentsia'

Looks like a bit of a soft red card to be honest. Without a VR to review, Kendalls had to go by his initial viewpoint and the touchies advice. Didnt look like a shoulder to head, more of a chest impact, as in Priors tackled him full body and stood straight up. Interesting to see what the disciplinary say.


**Edit: Actually, on second view, after saving the video and being able to slow it down, it does look like shoulder to head first contact. Another big ban incoming for Prior.
