| Yep, there were some very big lads (me included) fighting back the tears or gently sobbing away when he came out and then came on.
Such a great atmosphere just seeing the entire Rugby Family coming together summed up when Rob slightly faltered and the Bulls fans started a one Rob Burrow chant. Truly is the greatest game.

| I shed a tear watching the big man Kylie Leuluai flattening everyone and realising he no longer plays for us.

| What a spectacle that was. Cried at the end. One of the finest rugby events I've ever seen that. Shows what a great game it is and what a mega club Leeds are.

| TBF watching his booty fall out when Thaler went reaching to his back pocket after Kylies slo-mo shoulder charge was worth admission alone.

| What a day, what a match. It was probably one of the most emotional games I’ve been to and will without doubt be the most memorable, over any cup final win.

| This club takes a lot of stick - most of it deserved but when it really mattered it really stood up to be counted. Everyone associated with this great club should be very proud of what happened at Headingley today - a truly amazing day.
Well done to Bradford who contributed much to a day nobody will ever forget.

| Must admit to being in tears.......i never thought i would see the day when Keith Senior had open grass and couldnt score. It really upset me.
Nah seriously it was very emotional and great to be there but i hope to God Headingley never sees another day like it ever again.
These past few weeks have impacted me massively as sure it has everyone. All a bit too much for me late on im afraid. Im not ashamed to say i was blubbing like a baby.
Loved watching little Robbie over the years. Special player and even more special person.

| I know the game was secondary but was anyone else also impressed with Oledzki ?
I thought he was the strongest ball carrier out there.

| As others have said, an incredibly hard afternoon for all involved.
Walked out of the ground in tears for Rob, but also with pride at how special a club we really are. Hopefully we’ll never have to experience anything like it again.
On a side note, I’ve deleted my request from another thread asking for sponsors towards Robs fund. I was planning on getting him lifting the Grand Final trophy tattooed down my thigh. The deal was I was planning to pay half myself and the tattooist very generously offered to stump up the other half free of charge. After being inundated with messages on my social media accounts, I’ve now decided against it.
I’ve never been as hurt as a RL fan as I was yesterday after been called a fraud and accused of trying to make a quick buck from a terminally ill man. To those so called fellow fans of this great game, thanks for ruining another idea I had to make Rob’s pot that little big bigger.

Was waiting to see if there was a discussion on the match at all. And yes I agree with you, he looks outstanding, and this followed on from his second stint on Boxing day, which was also very good.
There really wasn't much to write home about on players, who looked distinctly worse as a team than Boxing day. But Oledzki, Walker, and Newman, seemed to be the bright spots of the day. And I would also add that, although I don't agree with it, Sutclife also did his job well.

Yes he looks like he's on a mission to cement his first team pot for this season which is great to see, I thought Cam Smith and Rhys Martin were our other standout players, but I'm not sure how much we can take out of it as the whole event seemed to be an emotionally charged one and a bit other worldly and that was just watching on the TV so I'm not sure what it was like in the stadium?
FWIW I thought it was one of the best RL spectacles I've seen (as I say I only saw it on TV) and it was both heartwarming and utterly saddening in equal measures but well done to everyone involved.
