We were battered today by Tonga and didn't try to move there big pack around to tire them and then play round them, apparently Both Thompson and Gildarts tours are done which isn't go for us think Bennett could have gone with a more balanced squad were too light in the pack with the likes of S.Burgess and Watts not in our squad and then our backs aren't exactly the quickest think Bennett will go for this 17 .

How good would a Four Nations tournament be now Tonga are a real force.

I don't understand how Chris hill makes the GB squad it's bad enough he steals a wage at Harrington he is an embarrassment to rugby league.
There were and is question Mark's over other players certainly the wingers but as people say there is no cover. Coote was s flop at fullback and once Lomax came on things improved and I think he should stay at next week. I would also question widdops placd as he did his usual and turned everything back to his inside instead of looking out wide.
Just to sum up the GB team was as good as an average super league side if this is the best we can find then times are worrying g for the future of this great sport. I'm sure New Zealand will be looking frwrd to hammering us over the next two weeks.

A Tri-Nations might be better and leave us to play France.

Lolohea should have been M.O.M was the top half back in the game.He moved his team around the field and his kicking game was excellent.Also liked how Watson went up to congratulate him after the game.Looks like he is really popular at Salford.

Scott Murrell would have murdered GB too behind that pack

Yep, that's a problem for the forwards who play in England. The likes of Walmsley and Hill typically face one or two players who can hit like that and make hay against the rest. Facing a full pack must come as quite a shock to their systems.

Walmsley would be great in the NRL, Hill would've done well a couple of years ago too, all our props look better than Graham now, though.

Tonga v Australia is a massive game this week, they are currently the best 2 teams in the World

That game epitomised everything wrong with our current competition. The fact we have just had the lowest quality super league season ever, shone through in that GB performance also. We have took a big step backwards.

One up e. Ooh but what do we do if the opposition don't miss tackles? Clueless rubbish. I lost count of the times our half backs got the ball wide then came back inside to take a tackle themselves. It was liking watching mini rugby where the kids always run back in the direction they received the pass from. Did Ryan Hall actually receive a pass on the wing? We played the entire game in the middle third of the pitch. We have neither the skill or the power to create space out wide and then use it. SL is so inconsistent that basically the team that turns up and completes some sets wins. You see some games with 50% completion rates so all you have to do is hold the ball and eventually crash over from 5 yards out to score.

Half the side are NRL players! Nothing to do with SL. The best players for GB were all in SL last year (Bateman aside). Graham, Hodgson, Burgess all poor.

That for me was down to the coach - wrong side picked, tactically inept and dated.
