Great atmosphere & enjoyed a few pints of Withens in your supporters Club.
Your ground is definately ready for SL.

What i will add is that i found it tough viewing watching Jjb today he was gassed after 15 minutes & got bumped off by wingers side stepped with ease at times & it was poor management that he only went off in the 2nd half because he took a heavy bang on his knee.
Also if anyone including Sinfield thinks bringing that plodding lummox Thompson in when the likes of Trout Mconnell & A.Sutcliffe are available they should really reconsider he is garbage.'"
Prepare for a certain poster to pick you up on this once the stats come out regardless of whether it was effective or not. I agree with everything by the way, although I do think the danger created by Moon at centre is at a different level to his stand off role.

| Dwyer can hold his head high today. He was one of the few Leeds players who actually looked a league above the opposition.
After watching the NRL play offs it’s clear some of our players aren’t fit enough and aren’t prepared to put their bodies on the line.

Definitely not, it was the most entertaining part of the day. Especially when Tyrer scored Brett Ferres couldn't stop laughing, then said something along the lines of clucking hell we're .

| I’m sure last time I went when Fax were in SL the attendance was given at something like 8,000 and there was definitely not double of today’s crowd there!
Think we could be missing Singleton next week for shoulder charge followed by swinging arm and contact with the head.

| We looked well on top for most of the first half but just couldn't convert chances into points, Halifax wouldn't roll over and deserved to go in all square on the scoreboard. The second half was better from a Leeds perspective but despite the 6 - 34 final score we bombed so many chances the worst of which was the Walters pass that never was. I feel for the guy, but he just isn't good enough. That was a sitter waiting to be scored, he had support and just didn't select the right option.
Lots to do in the off season, starting with a reality check and subsequent clear out.

| Of those on show for Leeds today only 5 or maximum 6 should be with us in two years time. Walker, T Briscoe, Myler, Parcell, Singleton and Smith.
I know Dwyer had a good game, but realistically this is the level he shines at. If we are in big games his mistakes would become very exposed, and there are plenty of them.

| How come Walters was played before Cameron Smith? Smith seemed to only be put on once Leeds had got a few points ahead.

Iv stopped trying to work out the reason walters plays before anybody, its certainly nothing to do with what he does on the pitch. One of the worst players iv ever seen in a Leeds shirt

There was a lot of glum faces in the crowd, I think he was brought on as some light entertainment. The no pass to Walker for a certain try was hilarious, I've seen this happen many times before of course, he's not the first player to go for glory and fail but this was particularly bad because it was so spectacularly obvious he was going to get tackled and had no chance of scoring, I think the Halifax defender was even shocked.

| How did L Briscoe play? stats wise he seemed to have good game, 1 try, 1 try assist, no missed tackles, 6 tackle busts, 2 cleanbreaks, 3 offloads and 174 meters on 18 carries for 9.67 meters average. Are the stats painting a misleading picture? they look very good on the surface but havnt seen anyone mention him having a good game.

He went OK, personally I've no problems keeping him on board for next year (maybe not as first choice), if it means we spend on players elsewhere, he does need to work on his defence and catching thoug but he does seem to win the collision quite a lot for his size (a bit like his brother) and he does seem to be quick.

Once again you choose to have ago at JJB and you say "he was gassed" after 15 minutes.
So once again I have to point out to you JJB was our top tackler, and of the forwards only Dwyer and Cuthbertson made more metres and only Cuthbertson made more carries. Two of your selections that you said had "solid digs" in the second half when Halifax were "gassed" actually missed double the number of tackles made by JJB.
Not bad stats for someone who "was gassed" after 15 minutes.
Now either you have an agenda against JJB or you had a few "too many pints of Withens in the supporters club" I will give you the benefit of the doubt and go for the latter.

You can bet on it!
I did not need to be there to see his stats show he made an effective contribution and his efforts covered all of the time before Halifax ran out of stamina.
Top Tackler
Only Cuthbo and Dwyer made more metres (of the forwards)
Only Cuthbo made more carries (of the forwards)
No errors
Half the number of missed tackles of Crosby, Dwyer, Thompson or Myler
