I said at the time we were lucky not to have Bowden sin binned but after asking someone, it was because the try being given is the penalty, hence penalty try. Had Bowden been sin binned also, it would've been double jeopardy.

That is the wrong interpretation by the referee. If in general play, and team not on warning, then the interpretation is correct, and what you said. However, the team warning supersedes this, and any offence on a team warning is a sinbinning. The officials got it wrong, and made up their own interpretation.

Your not double penalising. They know the situation when on a team warning. The flip of what you said is, what’s the point in the team warning? The warning supersedes other rulings.

It would've been a double penalty as the try was awarded, that's one penalty, and the sun binning would've been another penalty.

Which is the same as any other offence on a team warning, but still gets sinbinned. A team warning is for a reason.

I think team warnings are given for a specific continuous infringement, in this case messing around at the ruck. It shouldn't be the case that the very next penalty gets sent for 10, what if it was accidental offside for example? I think the ruling is and should be the next infringement deemed similar to what the warning was given for.

On leeds, I know they like to play expansive and open - but i think that needle swung too far this game. They looked clueless at times going forward and had no real attacking structure, except a 10 minute period.

Hull played reasonably well and for me Kelly was the difference .
Kelly in a Leeds shirt and we would have won that game.
Hull deserved the win last night but I would be a tad worried if a one point win against a below strength and below performing team is considered "a good win"
On the other hand you can only play what is in front of you and Hull did that and got the 2 points.
The worry is if Cuthbertson and possibly Ward are injured on top of what we have out it could be a long few weeks ahead.

seemed like a cop out to me - otherwise, wouldnt every team just try and kick the ball out of a players possession when theyre in the act of scoring? what exactly was the penalty against them, a try we were scoring anyway? you're losing nothing by doing it. should have penalised the dangerous play and given us a pen under the sticks, or sin binned their player imo
