Just noticed the Hull game is scheduled for the Thursday after Wembley. WTF, you know one of those teams are guaranteed to be at Wembley on the Saturday so why plan it for the following Thursday. Dumb.

It's as good a set of fixtures as we could have hoped for.
Look to win our home games first and foremost and having Huddersfield away last game, who may well be on the beach already, could be a nice fall back were we to need a victory to make the play offs or 2nd.

Super 8s and Qualifiers 8s Fixtures ReleasedThe Rugby Football League have released the fixtures for the Super 8’s which could see Castleford Tigers crowned as Minor Premiers as early as Round 3 when they have a home game against Wakefield Trinity.
SKY will be showing two games per round from the Super League Super 8s, along with at least one from the Qualifiers, although some games later in the season are still to be selected. All Catalans Dragons home games will also be shown live.

The first weeks fixture of us vs Wigan and Hull vs Salford....the 4 teams in cup action this week suggests they have that some thought, although could've landed like that due to pure dumb luck. |

To say we fell to pieces because of the pressure of a knock out game is ridiculous.
Challenge cup QF is not a must win game. Pressure isn't what beat us, we were poor and got beat by a better side on the day.
Sure we'd have wanted to win it, I'm not disputing that but to say we lost because it was knockout rugby is laughable. |

The way the home games have landed has worked out ok wrt to the South Stand demolition. The Salford match would obviously be the lowest attended so good job that's one of the post demolition games and the big boys of Wigan and Saints are before. Was thinking they would give us one of those two as the last South Stand games to make it as much of an occasion as possible and on Sky. |
