Or on the wing which IMO would be unfair on Briscoe who has done pretty well there.
I agree Printer it will be interesting to see how he goes with his selection. Is Moon still injured?

| Sutty has picked up the last couple of weeks with a little bit more time and a little bit less pressure at Fb, i'd be loathe to move him from there.
Golding is a strange one, he's a talent, he's definitely not a winger, he might be a fullback but will need careful to make sure he's more Brent Webb or Dorn than Escare or Dixon. With that in mind I can't help but think a spell in the halves might help, though it doesn't really solve the organiser/old head if Mags drop in form is terminal.

Moon was concussion assessment but they said he could've come back on so should be fine for next week. The wings I think would be Hall and Handley if the latter is fit (not sure what his injury is). Ablett and Golding were said will be OK for the Widnes game and that Tom Briscoe and Ward would be "there or there abouts" too so might even see Tom Briscoe back although might be the following week.
By the time we get to those big games vs Hull and Wigan we could be pretty much back at full strength (all be it a couple lacking match fitness and maybe Segeyaro if rumours are correct) if we don't lose anyone in the Widnes game/training.

| I'll be surprised if Golding gets back in now with Hardaker, Hall and Moon back. Ablett due back vs Widnes too. Segeyaro in. Sutcliffe settling very well into fullback and I think that's where he will be next season. I have a sense of feeling that Delaney may retire for us to fit Segeyaro in, especially with his recent injury. It's also looking like Hardaker will be still here for the rest of the season which is a surprise, however there is still a week for that to change.
Sutcliffe
Hardaker Watkins Moon Hall
McGuire Burrow
Garbutt Segeyaro Galloway
Ferres JJB
Cuthbertson
Falloon Keinhorst Singleton Ablett/Achurch/Mullally.

James Graham and a Burgess twin have been lined up by Zak's management in a "rent a quote" last push to reel in a club. Some bull$hit news article doing the rounds!

What? Did Jammer just ring up the paper to say how great his great mate is?

Ive said it before, Sutty is very similar in style and stature to micheal morgan, in that respect it may be useful to play him at fullback for a year or possibly 2, where he (for the first time) can play regularly in the sam e position for an extended period, using his running game but also developing his passing and kicking but without the pressure of knowing that if he doesn't create none will- as he had earlier in the year
If zak doesn't leave though I would probably stick Sutty in the halves till the end of the year and then assess options
As for Golding, he probably needs a few more years development, hopefully aided by us setting up a reserve team next year, as well as some loan spells. In that regard someone like sutcliffe taking the role for a year or 2 would be ideal, looking to Golding as a possible long term option

Sydney media outlets have reported that Segeyaro has said goodbyes to team mates at Penrith training. Leeds is the destination.

A lot more likely that a 'journalist' needs to produce so many articles a week and has James Grahams number
What to do think some club is gonna read this and go 'well James Graham is good so Zak must be too'

He already has a club. Just whether the deal is done with Leeds.

Surely if that is the case it is everyone's interest to get the job done - if Leeds are holding out for £300k then GH is a fantasist.
It would not look good on Leeds if they held him back - I wonder if the club who showed an interest are still that interested?

| Few journalists in Aus stating Segeyaro is a done deal until the end of 2018, here's the catch though... If he finds another club between now and December in the NRL we'll release him to them.

| It wouldn't be "we'll release him to them", more "he has a clause which enables him to skip out of a contract with Leeds if he gets an NRL gig".

Hetherington has a lot on his hands at the moment, jiggling about resources to get us back to a position of strength. You can't really expect him to just call quits on a transfer fee in a short period. It may well come to that in the end, but not sure how it is in everyones best interest to just do it now. Hardaker will continue to put in everything until something is resolved. But the club he has agreed with isnt' just interested, there is agreement, and there is still another three clubs waiting in the wings. What you will probably find in the end is that Leeds get a player with his Australian club contributing to salary, rather than paying a transfer fee. Which in the end may not be far off what Hetherington is looking for.

Maybe if we can offload Zak to free up cap space.
We might get Widdop to play at SO with McGuire/Lilley filling in at SH and Burrow replacement hooker?
Other than that we cannot sign an Australian half and Luke Gale has grabbed a five year deal with Cas which leaves us with little to no options at SO whatsoever.'"
Yep, Mags looks at the end as well. What great players they both have been. All good things etc......
