| We let Calderwood go and he was aguably a much more dangerous attacking player than either of them.
Would be unusual though, two current England internationals (although if a test side was selected tomorrow that probably wouldn't be the case) moving from one SL club to another without some teammates wife being involved.

| On Baldwinson I agree with a previous poster that he could play second row or LF if the coach feels the current props are performing.
It is not as if we have so many props anyway if one gets injured.
Give the lad a few games and lets see what he can do.
Singleton has slipped down the pecking order, we have a huge injury list and players like Achurch are stealing a spot let we could let Baldwinson go.
And I thought GH knew what he was doing

Think they did that for the latest Mad Max film. Should be a few spare kicking about.

Wouldn't that depend on why? Surely if the reason was down to one person, then the same argument would apply?

| Feel sorry for the lad....never given a chance in a badly flailing shiite team. One consolation if he goes (albeit not much of one)....maybe we will find out the truth fom him about what is stinking out the joint at HQ.

Who said anything about other SL clubs? Watkins has had many suitors in RU and in the NRL, and a few months of staleness and having the life sucked out of him defending as a second row isn't going to put off scouts who know what he can do in a well-oiled machine. If he's got any ambitions to develop his game or his lifestyle he should take one of the offers, hopefully one that lets him stay in rugby league.
As for 'wanting his contract ripped up', I find that unlikely to happen. Many would pay a good fee no matter how poor his current form.

| I don't blame Baldwinson one bit for this. Even with all the injuries we have, the young player of the year 2015 in the championship can't get in our squad. Something wrong with that.
I wouldn't be surprised if the other two were singleton (as he has been missing for recent weeks) and Hardaker (playing out of position and doesn't look happy).

Yeah I'm sure that the version of events coming from the Hardaker camp. In the real world though you'd have to be incredibly naive or bias towards Hardaker to think the club had nothing to say to one of their players about threatening people online in a drunken state.
Have his camp admitted to you yet that the real reason he was told by Leeds to leave the World Cup squad was because he swung a punch at a Carnegie player (but missed and then Carnegie player sat Zak on his backside)......no they wouldn't would they because that would make him look bad and at fault and they'd never do that.

| Not surprised by this the kid hasn't had a chance under this regime but injured players & soft gits get selected?
In terms of Props Singleton/Cuthbertson have proved more than capable at 13 & Baldwinson himself has played plenty of BR in the past so i dont buy that there has been no room or chance to give him minutes.
As for the other 2 who've asked to go GH imo should hopefully convince them to stay along with a complete off field re-build with some quality on field recruitment thrown in.

Hardakers camp? What the hell are you on about. A disagreement with a Carnegie player had nothing to do with him leaving the England camp, it was unrelated. Leeds had nothing to do with him leaving the England camp. You might think you know, but you don't mate. And you are completely and utterly wrong again with this new presumption about Twitter, that I can give you 100% assurance. Up to you if you want to think otherwise.

You've even admitted before his England exit wasn't England's decision. You and those close to Hardaker need to remove that halo you put above his head if you think he was removed from the England squad and fined just for going out whilst in camp and why he was put onto anger management courses because the student attack wasn't his first strike wih regards to a physical incident.
You hear things from family and friends of players and take it as gospel without stopping to consider it'll be a biased version of events where their loved one is portrayed as the victim or hard done by.
You blamed the club about the World Cup episode and treating him harshly.
The 2nd homophobic incident you claimed the club was hanging in out to dry because they didn't put out a statement within 24 hours.
The student attack last year again you slam the club's handling out it.
Why don't you go buy him a Mario Balotelli "why always me?" t-shirt. I bet if he let off fireworks in his house just like Balotelli you'd be on here blaming the club.

| why hasn't baldy even been given a go in our side?
i certainly don't blame him or singleton with their current gripes and none selection this season when both are fit and available, whilst a certain soft cock is stealing a wage with his none committed performances each time he is selected above them both
