i have no idea with regard to child if he is treated differently but I saw women fail the F,A, fitness test and still get promoted to a higher level as they wanted more women up there.
I did know an ex RL referee who said one ref consistently failed the fitness test but cummings still passed him as was a senior referee. he did always look a bit tubby to be a referee

frankly I couldn't give a monkeys if he is gay. my beef is he's a bloody awful incompetent referee who isn't anywhere near good enough for top level RL. I would like to know who thinks he is good enough to get a game, let alone a top game, every week

I can't imagine that there are many things which would require positive discrimination for overweight white men. As one myself, my people seem pretty well represented.

The fact he is gay or useless as a ref are irrelevant to justifying what Hardaker said. Thaler cannot ref all 6 games - is Child in the top 6 refs yea hence why he gets a game every week

Is that because the FA fitness test was set up under an inherent assumption that all referees are / would be male? Therefore because of their physical differences and subsequent challenges female referees would find it harder naturally as the test was not taking them into consideration?

Look at the men's and women's records for different running distances - that the women's are slower is not because they are any less fit than men, it is just they perform differently / to a different capacity.

What you fail to understand is that Child isn't incompetent because he is homo sexual. He is incompetent full stop, the worst, but yet it is ignored by the powers that be, despite it previously being dealt with on other refs. What are the reasons for that? Seems your only answer is what it definitely isn't despite knowing absolutely nothing to back that up.

Yes, because that ONE single suggestion was homophobic. It is not homophobic to suggest Child isn't a good referee. It is homophobic to suggest Child has only achieved what he has because of his sexuality. It is you and Gotcha who made it about his sexuality. Excuse me but it hasn't been suggested anywhere that he has only achieved because of his sexuality, and you very well know that. So stop trying to move your argument.

It has been suggested that he is constantly putting in poor performances over a period of time, and this is not being dealt with. A reason suggested for this us his sexuality. You on the other hand offer no reason, only accusations, and demands that this isn't the reason.

To be quite honest if Child started turning in Thaler like performances, I would be happy with that. But he hasn't shown anything like that, and is constantly bad, not because he is homosexual, but because he is bad.
