.....exactly. Bottom line. They don't seem to realise that the more mature amongst us don't really give a rat's ass who is "winning" the argument that sometimes ensues; with reams and reams of counter rebuttals and point by point disections. It's just bluddy boring - and not read by me at least.
Even G1 seems to have mellowed in his old(er) age. No so sure about Juan though  |

Nah. I haven't mellowed with age...just have less time for negative posters who are quick on the draw with their criticisms yet get very tetchy when their own errors are pointed out.

If you don't read them how do you know they are counter rebuttals? We might have been agreeing with each other 
To be honest I'm not trying to "win" an argument, I've given my opinion on things and in reply Tad has called me a dick and an idiot because my opinion doesn't suit his viewpoint.

Did Gareth Ellis' dad tell you that
Brierley would do fine as a McGuire 2004 era type player bringing an X-factor and support play to our current style. He isn't however (and shouldn't be IF signed) viewed as some sort of Sinfield replacement.
