I wouldn't say we were that bad, but it wasn't pretty. We worked hard and totally controlled the game. We got lucky two or three times, but probably earned that.
Good play from Keinhorst for the last try, but he did look pretty lightweight throughout, although certainly can't be faulted for effort. Yates looks poor. Aiton was very good, Hardaker very good, and Sinfield just made it all happen. Our wingers took the ball in when required, and the forwards never shirked.
Oh, and for all his faults, I thought Child was excellent tonight.

| Kenihorst seems to have found his calling in the backrow, he's not going to make massive meteres but, he runs good lines, and seems to have a cracking pair of hands. He does need to bulk up though, I just hope he doesn't go too far like Walters, and Clarkson previously.

Not churlish but a bit OTT to say we were 5hite,
Thought we were good in the 1st half. It was a different type of good to what we've seen when we've played well this year (such as the 2nd vs Hull in the league game at theirs). We realised the conditions and played accordingly and smartly.
2nd half we started well with the try but then struggled from 45th-65th minute to get any momentum and field position. Always felt though during that period we had a few gears to go up if necessary. Hull wasted some chances but I think we played a part in that in defence by working hard and not making it easy for them to take their chances.
Burrow did ok but we missed McGuire and think we could've had it wrapped up sooner with him out there. Yates couldn't fault the effort, he tried to get his hands on the ball a lot when he came on but not seeing anything to suggest much long term. Thought Moon was very good in the first half and a shame we couldn't get him more ball in the 2nd half but think we went a bit more 'up the jumper' then.

| Still too early to say on Keinhorst as a back rower but he hasn't let anyone down so far.i dont think we should get too carried away, i think the fact he can play anywhere in the three quarters and and in the back row now though makes him a very good and valubale player to have around when injuries hit as he is proving now.

Yes I'd agree about not getting carried away. Think he obviously hasn't been playing SL level every week in the forwards so probably has a bit more of a freshness about him than other forwards (both ours and opposition) at this stage of the season. Maybe like Handley you'd start to see a sustained run take its toil. Next two weeks should be a good marker for him with games vs Saints and Wigan to test himself in (I imagine he'll still be in the 17 for the next few weeks).

| I thought Sinfield was our stand out player with Ward our best forward. Moon and Watkins looked dangerous and Keinhorst is proving he has good rugby skills. Yates would be a much better player if he was a couple of sizes larger.

| Good result , but we were nothing special apart from God Sir Kev who's kicking game was out of this world and we will miss him next year. But Hull were terrible, I don't think Lee Radford has long left in the job.
Very sad news about Sutcliffe, but he is a young player and with the advances of modern treatment should make a full recovery

I love playing for him. I can't praise him enough, I've so much respect for him and I hope he's here for a very long time." Kevin Sinfield 29/9/12:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_68506.jpg |

| Very good win in difficult conditions.
Place in the semis: job done. Sometimes wonder what this team has to do to please some folk..?

| Played the conditions better than us and just have that extra class in the backs which made the big difference.
Well done.

Agree with that. Yates does look very lightweight when he's running it in down the middle. Possibly not helped by him being quite tall.

| Well done from me. No arguments about the result although it would have been closer if we could learn to catch.

I think awful conditions saw a lot of dropped ball by both sides, I thought we were just more clinical on the night.
I thought that the rumours about Westerman to Leeds was idle chatter until last night

Unlike Brian Mac who seems to have a 122 page thread about how sh*t he is.
