| Quote: BrisbaneRhino "Missed that bit. The rest were 'sent home at the end' - priceless. Wasn't that because the World Cup was over? Does that mean that if the England management hadn't 'sent them home' all the England players would still be in camp somewhere with McNamara?'"
Well of course that was what it meant, it was a tongue in cheek comment to demonstrate the spinning of a line. They were all sent home. The question was which other Leeds player was sent home.
It really doesn't surprise me on the posters coming up with this holier than though, arrogant rubbish. It really is simpler than that.
And I repeat yet again, there was a fine and a warning which Hardaker accepted. Which no doubt others also would. The discipline was stretched further though than it should have been, and that was where the beef is. I can not believe that Him is seriously asking what other players, when he knows very well whom, considering the number of posts about it over last six months.
At the end of the day there is only one winner here, Hardaker, and one loser Leeds, I just hope the fans don't lose out. Last year when they were in talks it would have been at xx amount, then those talks were called off at Hardakers request due to what happened. Since then his stock has gone up and up. Therefore, he either leaves and the club and fans lose out, or the club manage to get him back round the table and get him to sign a new deal. However, that deal is going to be far more than it was six months ago now. One loser.

| After being kicked out of the england squad the very last thing Hardaker needed was a p**s up holiday, If the club made him get straight back in training then I applaud them.

| I hope Hardaker behaves professionally, I hope he stays with Leeds and I hope he stays at full-back and cements himself in that role both at club and International level.

| Those players involved in the World Cup were given a later date to return to pre-season. Hardaker, for reasons of his own making, wasn't involved in the World Cup.
So why should he benefit from the extended break given to those who were? That's just common sense, isn't it?

| I can't believe the poor lad's poured his heart out to Gotcha and now Gotcha has betrayed that close personal confidence by telling us all about it.
*shakes head sadly*

Pour is heart out? I think you misunderstand.

A little willfully, it must be conceded.
I am not in one of my more serious-minded moods today.

| Hardaker let himself and the club down badly with his chav behaviour during the World Cup. The club quite rightly disciplined him and the lad has responded well with much improved performances this season. Seems to me our coach Big Mac deserves some credit in all this as his handling of Hardaker has achieved a positive result - especially if he has also had to overcome the 'chip on shoulder' allegation in the Gospel according to Gotcha

Chav behaviour? what's Chav behaviour?
Was he breeding staffies for fighting? was he using his benefits on ciggies? did he go out with a Mr T impression?
Think about what you put, you only look silly.
How can a positive result be having the best fullback by some distance in our competition, and one of the top 5 in the world at the moment, calling off contract talks and letting his contract run down?
Of course only a few weeks back you were saying BJB should be the fullback instead of him .

| With Hall as best winger in the world, Ablett best left centre in the world, Watkins best centre in the world and Sinfield best player in the world, it's clear that Hardaker has some catching up to do since being among the top 5 in the world in his position just doesn't cut it at Leeds these days

Why ???
He gets a better deal and the club gets a "better" player. Simples

We'll have to wait and see if Hardaker is satisfied with this dealing of Bailey once he next speaks to his close personal confidant Gotcha.
