I wasn't really thinking of legal positions. Which are irrelevant if nobody is being charged. My opinion is merely that of the internet busybody. In that capacity I am still dubious as to how threatened he felt.
Still, if was ever stupid enough to slap a pro RL player (or anyone else for that matter) round the head outside a bar, I'd expect to get lamped for my trouble.
