WTF get a grip they hardly had any ball and were down 2 men away from home against ateam most predicted would beat us by 20+.
Also for every mistake we made Wire made just as many and that knock on call against Mcshane who was facing his own line anyway when the ball was clearly stolen should ahve the officials hanging their heads in shame.
The team got stuck in and outscored them 4 tries to 3 yes the mistakes were frustrating and we maybe we could and should have seen out the last 5 minutes better but FFS give the team some credit they were knackered.
If that was any other team with so many injuries you would be one of the first to give them credit.'"
Agreed. The mcshane knock on which wasn't a knock on cost us is the end and helped them to pin us down our end. Wire were as poor as you are lilkely to see them and we should have had 2 points from the game, but as you say we were given little chance before the game and to lose two players from the interchange it was a big effort from the team. The one negative straight off the bat though was the last set. Wire should never have had the chance of a drop goal.
All in all a big effort.
On a side note would have to see it again but the Achurch injury seemed bizzare. Play had stopped a long time (or appeared to) before Westwood decided to drag him down and role all over his ankle. Only seen the incident once but, and I may be wrong,

It will be once the initial sting of losing has gone. Once the players can take a more objective look at the game without the emotion they will be able to see how well they did and how good things look going into the back end of the season, the players missing will play a big part in that.

This was possibly the worst Warrington performance I have seen in a few years. Leeds blew it, fair and simple.'"
Don't talk daft. The ref pulled us back far too far for that last set. We were all screaming at the game. 4 tries to 3 can hardly be ashamed.
A couple of players should be ashamed though.

| Quote: Harrigan "Exactly.
It was a god awful game. Too many errors and both teams looked clueless for the majority of the game.
As for the last set, I stand by what I said. I don't care how many we had out. It was 13 on 13. They had a set start so we had a full defensive line. They should have never got over halfway.'"
I have to question which game you were actually watching. I thought it was a cracking game. I think both teams struggled with their execution of set plays but then both sides are "off the cuff" type teams rather than the methodical Wigan/NRL approach so you can expect more errors, and I don't think either team looked clueless.
I agree the last set was disappointing and they shouldn't have made that much yardage, but I think the reasons for that are fairly obvious and understandable.
The "I don't care how many we had out. It was 13 on 13." comment is a bit silly.

Go f*ck yourself. The team played their bollox off and could barely stand at the end. We did well to prevent the drop goal from coming earlier.
Captain missing
First choice 6 missing
4 out of 6 first choice pack out
2 interchanges down
Lose by a point in the last minute
That was probably one of the top performances this season so far.'"
Harrigan is spot on.
It was a poor, error-strewn standard from both teams. Below amateur standard in defence by Leeds late on when conceding all that territory for the winning drop goal.
Just a shame it didn't end in a draw because neither team deserved a win.

| Quote: Harrigan "Again, your inability to look past the blue and amber side of things has always been your Achilles heel Loz.
The reason we were able to compete was because they were so bad tonight. The couldn't complete and made basic errors that Salford would laugh at.
The thing is though, we were in it, and we shouldn't have lost it. They made metres in the 2nd half but didn't make metres as easy as that last set. It was as if they thought they had done enough by kicking the ball dead and went to sleep.
It's a simple game to understand. All you have to do is look at it neutrally like I do.'"
Cheers, thanks for the Rugby Lesson there....

Kirke mainly. A player his size going backwards on most occasions, and other times watching younger players take his ball. This after arguing earlier that all it takes to replace JJB extra metres is for Kirke to up his work rate.
On another note I though BJB had his best game ever. Looked outstanding did the lad.
Need to see on TV yet though. Travelling back now.

Well the amount of times you go off on one in the ground, only to be proven wrong a few seconds later! You need them every now and again

| Am I seriously (along with Jeff) the only one who thought that was a god awful game throughout though?
Please tell me this place hasn't gone down hill that much that posters actually have been beaten into submission by the Sky commentary team and believe everything they say?

I often find that opinions are generally more valid from those who actually watched the game on Sky with the sound muted during the entirety as opposed to listening to others opinions and taking them at face value. It was a crap game and no amount of Sky commentators eulogising about their company product will change that.

| I think "ashamed" is a strong word in this case mate i thought they all had a dig and obviously some were better than others and whilst i agree they battered Kirke i don't think he should be ashamed.
