| Quote: Harrigan "All the talk about how much the Wakey fans enjoyed seeing Bailey getting put down is funny. He was the best forward on the pitch. Really got involved and found the front foot for us yesterday. Forget whether he is hated and a s***house or not. The last 2 years he has upped his game and become a good prop.'"
Without losing that "edge" to his game that wins penalties.
Make no mistake, he will have spotted how wound up Poore was getting yesterday, and exploited it to his team's advantage.
There's more to being an "enforcer" than running around taking shots at people. Sometimes, you have to use your brain with it.

| Good result for Leeds against a team mainly made up of first teamers.
Poore was lucky not to get 10 minutes for his high tackle, I think the friendly saved him, he then went on to commit two further penalties and then attempt to roughen up Bailey in the tackle, he had clearly lost his head. Bailey challenged him and he didn't have the control to stop himself. Enjoyed Bailey clapping in his face as he got sent off and Bailey got a yellow.
Vickery had a good start, looked a bit like Pat Richards with long rangey strides. Would be nice if he gave good competition to BJB who still has defensive weaknesses.

| Poore was trying to take liberties with some of the younger Leeds players, Bailey did what i would want of any senior prop, and stepped in.
If Poore is State of Origin standard, then the Australians are doing a better job of promoting their game than I thought, the guy was a liability, and the ref did Wakefield a favour sending him off.

| I don't know if Poore was trying to make his mark as some kind of rough-neck enforcer or if he'd been told to get physical with our young-uns but he seemed like a liability to me.
If he carries on like that in SL games he'll be spending more time at Red Hall than he will on the pitch.

| Kylie lost his head when he copped a few loose elbows from fox, he was given a one match ban and we went to catalan, with kirke in his place, and it was the same game that s*** house went half the length of field before giving the ball to mags to finish #hedoeswhathewants
Oh and so what poore has played SOO so has ben cross, does he look anything more than average?

Agreed, Chris McKenna played twice as many SOO games as Poore also with a MoM performance. Chris hardly set the Super League on fire.... that pass to the Southstand.
Poore looked strong, no doubt a big unit. Hopefully he sorts his style of play out to keep on the field. He'll go well for Wakey.

He knew exactly what he was doing, hence the many smirks. He was enjoying himself out there.
Poore wanted to get noticed, he did that.
Poore or poor? The later on Boxing day showing.

| It was by far wakefields strongest team..
L.Smith
K.Amor
o.Wilkes
A.Raleigh
F.Moriano
Also, young players Walshaw, Cowling, Healey, Trout - got an extended amount of game time. Goulding a decent 15 minutes.
Leeds have a stronger squad, Leeds have a better youth set up (slowly Wakey are catching up) and nobody is saying different.
But seriously, it was far from a Wakey first 17 for any stretch of ones imagination.
It was a decent first friendly, served its purpose for both teams. Good points and developement points for both.
Looking forward to sl derby

It was the strongest Boxing Day side (to my knowledge) that Wakefield have ever fielded.
