| I'm not concerned about anybody. I hope Leeds find a little more consistency in the qualifying rounds but come playoff time, injuries permitting, I think this set of players understand the formula better than most.

| So far there have been 29 entries for 2012 which incidentally equals last season's record-breaking field.
Hopefully some of those that have contributed to the thread without submitting an entry will find the time to do so before the season kicks off - not forgetting those from last season still to enter 2012's comp including the 2011 reigning champion.

Do you have a link to last years effort? Checked through but couldn't find it. But the treads did all start to blur into one.

| Quote: Andy Gilder "I'd be more worried about Saints than either of those two personally.
Recruited well and a host of good young players with an extra year's experience under their belts. IMO they'll be the big improvers in 2012, neither Wigan nor Warrington are going to get any better than they were in 2011.'"
I have predicted Saints to finish top - the above is more about where Leeds will finish I have predicted 2nd but they could finish 5th if Wigan, Warrington etc get their act together.

Brown won't be sacked no matter what, he's off at end of season anyway.

Old Feller, according to TVOC's linked thread above with Keith Swift second.

Changed this slightly since my prediction a few weeks ago on the Bradford board. The positions from 7th to 10th are almost interchangeable but the top 6 are almost certainties (although maybe not in that exact order).

Thanks for that, I trust batley has followed the link provided higher up the page but if not the final table is here
Way to celebrate winning last year's comp.
The deadline for entries (and/or any edits) should be (I guess) kick-off for the opening game of the Regular Rounds, which is scheduled to be 8pm on the 3rd February 2012.
The only problem with delaying an entry is the danger of duplicating an earlier one which ultimately will be placed higher in any tie-break situation.

| I'm sorry to you Rhino fans but the Bradford squad has improved and I have been watching the game for many, many years. Whilst I agree that we will not finish in the top 4 - I believe we will make the Play-Offs. I still think that opposition are enjoying the fact that Bradford have not been in the Play-offs for the last three years as they didn't finish outside the top five for the first 13 years of Super League and in that time they handed out many hammerings to many teams. But Bradford remains one of the biggest clubs in Super League with a large fan base - I'm just hoping back to being what they were - although it might be long process to gain our 5th Super League Title.
For the record I believe Leeds will finish in the top 5 and stand a very good chance of winning the Super League from anywhere in the Play-Offs as Sinfield is an exceptional leader - the loss of Buderus may hurt you however. You will also have a good run in the Challenge Cup as you still have some great players with the likes of Mcguire, Burrows, Hall and Peacock. This season is going to be close and should make for a good competition as even London seem much stronger than last season.

Nice stat and speaking personally you can bet your bottom dollar that's what's happening but it's about time Bradford got themselves back in the game to help keep that red rose lot in check, instead of leaving it all to plucky Leeds.
For the record St Helens have never finished outside the SL Regular Round top 5 for an average finsh of 2.31, Leeds likewise except for SL 1 (1996 - 10th) for an average of 3.44, next it's Wigan at 3.63 with Bradford slipping to 3.94
__________
The purely for fun prediction comp is open to all - even Bradford fans.
