I really doubt that.

Oh right i forgot he had no knowledge how on earth his team containing so many internationals and stars of the game were so far over the allowed SC limit.
Thanks for the advice but if i were you i'd stick to your tired old trolling about the Rhinos and listening to yer own advice re-club spin and believeist guff!!

Do you have any evidence that he did?
No?
Thought not.
Quote: rhinoms "how on earth his team containing so many internationals and stars of the game were so far over the allowed SC limit.'"
You mean all those internationals produced by nobody else but Melbourne Storm who were nurtured and coached by Craig Bellamy... yes?
Having lost Inglis, White, Hoffman, Tolman, Finch, Lima, Turner, Chambers and several others in 2010, guess what? Melbourne are currently top spot in the NRL in 2011 with a radically changed team full of other young players nurtured, produced and coached by yep... you guessed it... Craig Bellamy.
No surprises there.
And that's why he's the best coach in the world.
Feel free to pontificate about things you actually have some knowledge about... which, in your case, is the rhinos t brand of pontification. Otherwise, you'll only end up looking like a complete t.

Very true. If their was ever proof that a good coach can make average players good players Melbourne are it. Belly ache went and bought some nrl journeymen and coached them into a nasty front row who know their job and do it well.

| The same way you've no evidence to back up your batsh#t conspiracy theory with regards to Blueys departure.
What about the players produced by Bennett within the cap?
I've not said Bellamy is a bad coach nor said he isn't world class but he was able to retain a squad full of stars by the club breaking the rules by millions not just ten bob here and there or the odd $$$ over-looked in bonus payments MILLIONS.
What do you call it when posters revert to name caling because they can't win an argument?
Not too keen on anyone disagreeing with you when you're not trolling are you?

Indeed... and you only have to take a look at all the average journeymen or young players in the Melbourne Storm team who look good this this season and have stepped up several gears... Norrie, Manu, Duffie, Hinchcliffe, Proctor, Lowe, Woolnough, Bromwich, Waqa, Widdop, etc.
It's a remarkable achievement by Bellamy to coach that squad to the top of the NRL ladder with so much of their cap centred on Smith, Slater and Cronk. Best coach in the world by a significant margin IMO and has been for several years.

If the t cap fits?
You introduced a ted claim that Bellamy was a cheat due to the salary cap cheating of business-suited perpetrators who are no longer involved in the game at an administrative level. That's ignorance and tery on your part rolled into one.
I can't remember Melbourne Storm signing any expensive, world class, big name, marquee signings... they produce them instead... Smith, Slater, Cronk, Inglis, Folau, King, Hoffman, Johnson, White... they are the envy of other NRL clubs who rely on signing marquee players.
The salary cap rules are flawed. Clubs ought to be allowed to pay any players they produce as much as they damn well like in order to retain them. This rewards well run clubs and it also rewards loyalty.
On the subject of McClennan's departure, of course his position at the club was undermined by GH's clearout of the other coaching staff, along with the asinine recruitment of his coach-in-waiting mate McDermott. McClennan was never going to exercise his option of a one-year contract extension after that. Well done GH - you got your mate installed as coach a year early to freshen the place up and now IT'S ALL FRESH... innit?

Makes sense seeing how he knocked back the Salford job. He is next best assistant ready after Melbourne duo Maguire and Kearney moved into Head coaching jobs.

Yeah, I would agree with that. But I just have this thing that I think Taylor would make a really good job with a top super league side.
