Winning the most important competition of the lot will do for me. Will take the Grand Final over the Challenge Cup every time. One shows who is the best team in the land the other is a bonus day out. WCC doesn't mean much to me.

If it hadn't been for diskin knocking on twice we could potentially have come back and won, or certainly got within one score. We were getting a roll on and were only 12 points from being in front with 20 minutes to go.
Considering the weight of posesseion saints had, the amount of penalties and mistakes we made, nice dry evening, away at saints, I find that incredible.
This reault will produce plenty of spunk for the leeds knockers but If leeds can combine all the aspects of play we know they are capable of (attack, defence, discipline) we are still a major threat to the title. |
