Lets hope we dont sell Beckford, he'd would have been an ideal replacement

If Beckford goes, and I really don't think he will i'd be pretty happy with Billy Sharp, who we would most certainly get as his replacement.

I Billy Sharp would be my choice aswell IF we needed a replacement although Simeon Jackson is doing the business again and could be an alternative...

| Good result tonight - a win's a win at this point of the season. Performance wasn't great, but perhaps to be expected with front two and both centre backs changed from Saturday. Some good spells, especially in the 2nd half - was impressed by young Grella, looks useful. Big Enoch took his goal well, but the one he missed was a shocker Good to see him back after all that time out last year.

| Tonight we simply did what we had to do and never looked like losing in all honesty, I'd much rather we conserved our energy and better performance for Wycombe...
I thought Mike Grellas link up play was fantastic though and encouraging to watch and good old Enoch true to form gets us the Goal and Misses a Shocker!...

I agree but our distribution from set-pieces was dire!!
Still a win is a win and Grella was a deserved M.O.M good to see killkenny back aswell.

| I was well impressed with Grella especially in the second half, Doyle looks like a decent signing aswell, gets stuck in, decent passer and what a strike in the first half(would of been a contender for goal of season).
What a miss from big Enoch , Beckford would of buried it but didn't matter in the end. The centre backs were getting beat in the air alot but not too worrying as they are 4th and 5th choice.
Will Andy Robinson get his starting spot back this season? I rate him better than Johnson but Grayson obviously doesn't and now Kilkenny is back who will be the two central midfielders, Doyle,Kilkenny,Howson? I think he'll go with Doyle and Killa and put Howson on the bench.

| Why couldn't we cross the ball? At this level we don't need to play as cleverly as we were trying and our counter attacks were halted for needless short passing.

| Didn't see the game. Nice to see we won though an Enoch toe-bung, right? Bet it was a cracker.

| He deflected a cross with an outstretched right boot at head height (not quite his own head height). His miss was woeful!

Was his miss a header? Why can't tall players head the ball these days?
Shearer never missed a sitter with his noggin'.

| I said Shearer because I watched England Vs Scotland Euro 96 earlier. When a young Gary Neville flicked in a lovely cross to the back stick for Shezza to head home. Young Gary Neville, thats what Motty said. I nearly choked on me caviar.

| Thought that Leeds played pretty well in 2nd gear, without first choice strikers and centrebacks.
Seemed to over-play it a bit and looked to be lacking some cutting edge.
Johnson seemed to easily have the beating of his fullback, but wasn't able to get any decent crosses in.
Encouraging signs though, if only over a very poor Darlington side
