I see Hall in the forwards in a season or two. Big lad for a winger. Maybe he will move infield when Broughton is ready?

Bailey played well last night and I am so glad he is okay.
The disgusting behaviour of a small minority of hull kr fans who were shouting 'bailey is leaving in a coffin' was appauling and shocking ! icon_eek.gif

Ryan Hall - Last night wasn't the first time he's had a howler with his hands, Catalans away last season anyone? Rain is no excuse, it certainly wasn't wet that night in France. The week after in the CC semi at Huddersfield he was very good though. That's often what you get with young players. Even though he had a mare he still showed up and put the effort in but it just wasn't happening for him..... that's all. (Donald will also be disappointed with some of his finishing this season so far.)

He is in the side currently because he is one of the best seven backs the club has available for selection. That will likely as not still be the case next week also.

hall is great going forward but when the ball was kicked behind him he had the turning circle of an oil tanker.looked very cumbersome in that respect

Shame afew Hull fans had to come out with a below the belt comment about Bailey last night, pleased we grinded out the win in the end and hope Baileys not too bad.

and if my memory serves ( which is far from certain these days) hasnt he usually followed up a "mare" of a game with a top performance the following week.... icon_wink.gif

That (highlighted by Craven Park's super-sized in-goal areas), his lack of gas and engine all mark him out as a young bloke who has lucked his way into a single digit squad number. That's OK, wing isn't a high priority position in the team and someone has to fill out the numbers. He puts the effort in and is very willing but he just isn't blessed with that star quality.

Not a reaction to last night's performance, just a consistently held opinion.

Not seeking to knock him but I don't see him as a starting 1-7 Leeds player when the squad is up to strength and when it isn't he'll be an adequate stop-gap.

No one ever stopped the church by pulling down the steeple, You'll never beat the system by bombing number 10, Systems aren't just made of bricks, they're also made of people, You may send them into hiding but they'll be back again:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_6300.jpg

Expressing an opinion that you've held for some time about a player on a message board is hardly getting on his back. Maybe we should just post 'Sinny is God' for 30 pages?

So Hall dropped the ball a few times - had a bad game, but he did pop up in the right place for his try. He's young and fairly inexperienced, he's bound to make mistakes

So you are permananently on his back then.

At least you're consistent.

Temptation, greets you like your naughty mate, The one that used to get you in bother, But one that you could never bring yourself to hate.:icons15f0_files/4862-863FALH-msnicons.jpg

Hall is usually solid and unspectacular. Last night he had abit of a mare, but he's also had some excellent games.
Donald is playing exactly like he did in his 1st season at the moment, IMHO it's fairly clear that he's a much, much better player on the left.
He's more comfortable scooting from the left, receiving the ball from his right (last season he would have grounded that no-try, IMO), finishing in the left hand corner (despite carrying the ball in his right hand). Also playing outside Keith doesn't do your game much harm.
Not knocking Donald here by the way, just don't think he hits the heights on the right hand side.

You always get the minority don't you the majority in the stadium clapped him off !

Ablett you failed to mention the close line he gave Webster in the first half discilpinary matter for me .

Webster's try was a definite the ball did not change direction I have watched it many times in slo mo .

A different outcome I think but the top teams seem to be getting all the decisions lately.

If that's the case donalds try would of stood and the penalty count would of been 15-15 and the score wouldn't of been so close as we'd of won comfortably but then again we did get all the decisions icon_rolleyes.gif

It all depended which speed you ran the slow mo at. The slower it got the harder it was to see.

Definate knock on for mine though.
