I'd definitely keep martin. Partly because he's a genuinely good kicker but also because, whilst he certainly doesn't rip up trees, he's a good, solid and experienced player in a position that whilst we have the quantity im yet to be convinced on the quality.
Never saw the point in signing king.

| The big question is, have they already lined up an upgrade or are they now back in the (always crowded) market for props? I really hope it is the former and not the latter. Don't want to be drifting toward Christmas with holes in the squad this year.

| Quite like him, hits hard and good meters after contact...But like Hurrell, way too many errors, be that with the ball or defensivly, they kill teams and we'v had too many players who are prone to them.
Dont know if its by design or not but glad we'r rectifying that.

| Presumably we have another prop lined up of better quality, whether British or overseas.
King has done OK imo and I would have been happy to keep him if he wasn't taking up too much cap space. The HIA's were a concern and he does look a bit raw at times but there is a good player in there. He makes good metres after contact and hits hard in defence. Good luck to him.

| Think he'll go well at Salford. A mid table prop (no offence intended to either party). Didn't manage to stay on the field long enough but was solid when on. Think if he was British he'd have got another year but difficult to justify an overseas space on mid table

| Interesting we apparently offered him a deal. Maybe we are behind the 8 ball with a replacement

The club must have contingency plans for a player who leaves surely! Plus, couldn't we just use thompson there until someone whose played prop for more than 10 minutes of their careers becomes available?

| Meh. If this means we could bring Luke Thompson home for example it would be excellent business.

| My worry is who's going to coordinate the future signings now that Sinny has gone.He was instrumental in bringing Bentley in,could do with more of the same.Perhaps the sleeve can magic something bloody spectacular.A quality nrl prop should be on his radar.
