In all seriousness he would go well in your team without the hindrance of having to do the second row forward donkey work in defence. I'm sure Warrington would play him to his strengths and have the coaching ability to realise that with (some/any/no bluddy chance with Leeds) training ground planned moves.

That's not what Watkins is there for. He's an icing on the cake player. Not a grafter. And I don't think there's anything wrong with that as long as you don't have too many in your team. He'll score tries that the grafters will never come close to doing.

The 'old' Watkins in the 'old' team yes....now he has been made into a 'grafter' (and to be honest he doesnt do such a bad job of it..but it's a pity he has been given such a role)

To be fair he's only 5ft 9 so he could be stood up but no one could tell.

Watkins is one the finest athletes in SL - he is currently playing in a team that doesn't have the quality of creativity to make the best of his skills.

No one can question his heart if you look at the amount of tackling he is doing.

Unless Leeds magic a high quality half back and a coach who understands attacking structure and how to break down defences then you will never see the best of him. All the off the cuff that Leeds have been famed for isn't the answer for a player like him.

Let's be honest, Warrington should win SL at a canter this year. But deep down, you know they'll choke again. Even with arguably the best coach, and the most resources. Their "heart for a fight" will let them down again.
