| He's a washed up ex journalist who the mirror group dumped last year.
He's usually found hanging around the Salford site stirring.
We would be quite grateful if you could keep him occupied for awhile.

Make no wonder he was dumped by a national newspaper as i thought he was only a school kid in his early teens
Aw bless him

| Although the OP does make a valid point - if we play anything like we did today then next week could be really embarrassing.
I do have a theory though - The guys saw Tommy, Carl and young Ashton all limp off they field (can it technically be called a field if it's plastic?) and the thought that it could be them next which would mean missing next weeks WCC game so they eased off.

We all know you are in transition but you've managed this transition very naively. You lack any real quality and recruitment has been poor.
If you fail to compete for trophies you can say goodbye to the likes of Hardaker, Cuthbertson and Moon and say Hello to the likes of Championship-level players like Brierley.'"

We are no worse off points wise as last season, defeats to both Widnes and Warrington provided us with zero points. The Wire match was a contest throughout and most supporters appreciated the performance. Yesterday was a total embarrassment, a total no show. There's plenty of the season left to put things right in terms of being in the mix at the business end but I can't see the scars of yesterday's defeat being healed for the North Queensland game. Another drubbing is on the cards.

If they are not real quality why would that matter?

| .Hardly think you can write off any team after two games,Leeds are in a period of transition and I fully expect them to improve game by game and come the end of season will be in the mix for trophys, don't forget they are the treble winners,it is in their DNA,they will be fine

| Our performance against Warrington last week was far better than last season (when we never looked like we had a hope in hell of getting anything from the game). Likewise our performance at Widnes last season was also poor (just not quite as poor as Sunday, ahem). Only time will tell if this season is a flop and I just hope fans have patience (even to the point of writing off a poor season due to transition of playing staff). Remember that the core of the treble squad is still there so some of these guys will have to man-up in the coming weeks.

| A heavy defeat to NQC on Sunday could pile the pressure upon the squad and at a time when they could do with a good winning run to bed in your young half backs.
You have a tricky away fixture in France next weekend,I reckon 2 defeats from these 2 fixtures and you'll be after Brian McDermott's head

Your point with reference to the two specific fixtures stands but after the opening two rounds of 2015 Leeds were 100% and four competition points better off than they are now. After the opening four rounds they were still 100% on eight points. With an away trip to Les Catalans and a potentially tricky home game V Huddersfield (both games Leeds won in 2015) you're "no worse off" claim could be wearing a bit thin soon - so I trust you're working on a new line to use .... just in case.
As others have said before, Round 8 at home to Wakefield is looking like Leeds' first comparitive gimme, lets hope Leeds get some wins on the board before then.

You may well be right about Leeds losing the next 2, however predictions was never your strong suit last year.

Thing is, Leeds having an underwhelming season would be understandable after last years success. If the likes of Wigan and Warrington mess up this chance to claim a few bits of silverware after the last couple of trophyless seasons....that would be dodgy.
In a way the pressure is on our opponents to make sure we don't the GF this year. The opposition have been waiting for a few years now for Sinfield and Peacock to retire and the stranglehold on Old Tradford to die with their departure......if we do find a way to win the GF this year then a lot of worried heads at opposition teams will follow as they were desperate for our success to depart with those legends......quite honestly, the opposition dare not allow Leeds to win the GF the first season post Sinfield otherwise alarm bells ring to whether he and Peacock successfully passed on the winning habit and it becomes a 2nd Golden decade.
