| To think many years ago a lot of us used to think Lewis Jones club points record would never be beaten. never say Never. I think John Holmes apps record 625 is safe for ever though

I hope so. From the time I've been watching Leeds it'd be fitting for KS and JH to hold those records (though those who recall Lewis Jones may disagree).
Neither do I imagine the boys at 1eagu3 (have I written that right??) would be thrilled by the kind of workload John Holmes got through

Jones record stood for well over 50 years Sinfields will be there for much longer than that.Sinfield I think will become second to john in appearances for the club he now has 493 he needs about another 53 to beat Fred Webster to go second. What a legacy Sinny is going to leave?

Massive. The word legend is overused in sport but it's hard to conceive that our fans of the future could regard Sinfield as anything else.
As for Lewis Jones, I remember pestering him for autographs as a kid (on numerous occasions, I'm ashamed to admit ) when I'm sure he would rather have been left in peace. Always obliging, a real gent.

He really was /is I remember going to watch team team training as a kid on evenings and Lewis finished off having Kicking Practice before he went in and we asked him to leave the ball so we could kick about and he said ' don't forget to take it back when you finish lads'

| It was really good to see a picture of Lewis Jones with his arm around Harry Jepson at the latter's recent birthday party, two grand old men of Rugby League.

| Just recently bought the images of sport book on Leeds Rugby League. Loved reading up on Lewis Jones and the Toowoomba Ghost Eric Harris and also Jeff Moores. There was such mystery surrounding players back then. Nowadays you know everything about a players Stats before there's even a ball kicked.

| Just 6 more points needed to move into 4th place now.
Just 70 points off Gus Risman in 3rd place and 6 more games needed for 500 Leeds appearances.....tricky given the tough fixtures we have coming up but could hit both those milestones in the same game. If he doesn't miss any then it'll be Wakey at home on Easter Monday where we could score a few tries to give him a chance.

| Around 60 points now if figures are correct,
Would be a shame if he did not get to 3rd on all time list. 20 games + top 8 playoffs + cup.
With a career average of around 8 points + per game he should do it.

No, he had to play into 2016 and stay relatively injury free to reach 4000 for the club.

| I guess 4k for Leeds would be posible if he played all the rest of the season, Leeds do well in every comp and get the sort of CC draw that could see us wrack up a cricket score. But in the real world, probably not.
