| Having played them in four of the last 5 Grand Finals, a couple of classic cup semi finals and a few very intense tasty league games it's got to be Saints for me over the last few years.
Cas are irrelevant. They might get the odd upset against us but we compete for trophies, they don't. Saints and Wigan (and the Bulls a few years ago) are our competition for trophies.

| The Wigan games for me are the most intense and in the past few years we've always seemed to cause them problems, regardless of our form, so they are the ones I look forward to. The Saints games have lost a bit of needle since a few players on either side have gone, and a bit of a mutual respect seems to be building.
I can't get excited about Cas games anymore, because apart from a few exceptions, we usually give them a good towelling.
Bradford are barely even worthy of mention anymore.

Got to say between 07 and 09 the Leeds Saints games were brilliant and both sides seemed to have a real dislike for each other, that seems to have been lost abit recently. It tends to be who has success, hence why Wigan is now the game I look forward to most, as we seem to have that dislike for them that we had for Saints, and Bradford in the past.
I find Castleford's hate for us quite amusing, but I they tend to raise their game for us, last year aside.

Agree with you here, Hunslet are our biggest Rivals. I dream of the day when we are playing Hunslet in Superleague, sadly in the real world I can't see it happening for along long time.
Other than Hunslet, I'd have to say Wigan, I just can't stand those pie eaters.

| I still relish victories over Wigan the most.
I can't forget all the heartache Wigan caused me throughout the 80s & most of the 90s.
It used to be Bradford but they've gone so far backwards that it is no longer a pleasure to beat them.
I've always had a soft spot for Saints since they've always played the brand of rugby league I want to see.
Plus they've never IMV really bent the rules to win unlike the other two.
I could get to dislike the Wolves if they continue to beat us consistently.
I used to hate Wilderspool.
I did hate the Boulevard too but all that changed with the move to the KC.

| Its got to be Wigan for a number of reasons both new and old,
Before it was because they bought success when no one else could,
Recently because they cheated to try and win, amusingley failing in the process,
Now its because their fans are so far up their own ar5es they can see daylight.
oh and ratboy
As i always say as we pass the pier, Fu#king hate wigan I do

| Wigan for three reasons...
1. The amount of bile and invective their mere presence generates among Leeds fans.
2. Leeds have never beaten them in a proper Final.
3. Every game against Wigan is treated like a cup final by Leeds.

| At my age I have to say that Hunslet are our historic rivals, there are still some old Parksiders around who feel the same.In the early 60s when Wakefield were ruling the roost ,they came near,I could never regard Bradford as our rivals.I think over our 3 in a row it was St Helens.I dont like Wigan ,but that is for other reasons ,its their fans I cant stand

When was the last time we played a meaningful game against Hunslet? Playing a team in pre-season friendly don't count as a rivalry.

No not now ,but they are our historic rivals from the old Parkside day's ,unfortunately Hunslets demise meant they lost a generation of fans, we still count our trophies from those years so we should not forget the rest of the history. Its like the song that gets sung to Leeds utd 'your not famous anymore"a fair percentage of their fans weren't around when they were famous.Believe me those encounters against Hunslet all them years ago were realll torrid affairs, they used to get 20k for the Lazenby cup

Sadly it was a long time ago. Just because we have not played them in the league/cup match for ages does not mean it can't be called a rivalry.

Hunslet have less fans than Queens - what happened 40 years ago isn't relevant now? A rivalry indicates participation on both sides not a one sided contest.
