Every time I start to think I (we) might be being a little harsh on the guy, he comes out with some statement or article like this.

What a complete and utter idiot.

Has he not noticed that he has at least 4 WORLD CLASS players, that are currently getting shown up by all and sundry that they play against?! How on earth does he think that he's making them the best they can be?

I'm no huge fan of his either right now, but If he is going to go down I expect him to go down fighting. He is a very motivated man that has beliefs in his abilities, nobody can knock him for that. No trophies have been won yet and the fact is Leeds could still remarkably win the CC and GF. Do I think that is going to happen? No. But do I expect McDermott and all the staff at Leeds to have that aim? YES.

This is simple. Win both of the games and he has bought some more time, win one of the games and he's still in deep trouble, win neither game and the hammer comes down.

I expect us to win one of the games, probably the Friday one.

I think he's actually talking about how he's learning to walk.

Daryl powell used to make more sense when he was coach and we weren't doing well.

He just comes across as a very poor communicator. You can tell what he's trying to say - but he puts it so very badly that it comes out completely garbled. If that's how he talks to the team then its no wonder we're up sh*t creek.

Can't argue with that, if we come bottom we haven't failed because the table is meaningless!

You could say the same about every game you lose if you don't look at the scoreboard.
