Can we afford him on the cap? I like Smith and would welcome him back and did not want him to leave but apart from the cap why would they let him come to us on loan when he is learning union?

If he has quit, i think we will have enough space on the cap. I hope so anyhow. I'd look to let Scotty go at the end of the year and have a back line of Webby/BJB, Hall, Delaney, Keith/Watkins, Smith

He has been playing reserve grade for them hasn't he? I'd have him back in a flash. He can cover so many positions that even with a full squad available he'll still be an asset. As strong as we are in the forwards, outside backs are a place we are pretty thin on.

Would love him to come back to RL, great player.
