Same reason he gave him the Challenge Cup Final - enough rope to hang himself?
I see they've taken the risk of having Ben Thaler and Justin Morgan in the stadium on the same day - if Stuart had really wanted to have fun he could have given Thaler the Rovers game I suppose. |

That was nothing more than a starter, Wigan should provide the main course. It's a (needlessly) controversial appointment, not sure it will put any more scottish bums on seats though.

Cummings should have given Hull KR Thaler at the next possible opportunity just to show his appointments aren't still dictated by outspoken coaches who may or may not be related to other recent outspoken coaches. |
