We played well second half but let ourselves down with stupid errors
They were given a try that wasn’t a try and they chalked off two perfectly good kicks

| Sad to see McCormack get stricken by the Leeds rookie injury curse. Hope it’s nothing serious.
Not despondent after that; but objectively the squad has serious issues still.
I’m not confident we can fix it all up in time for next season. Tonight has confirmed a lot of my existing thoughts.

| At least it wasn't an annihilation then... I was giving us 30 start to have a chance before 8pm. Small steps I suppose... I'm not sure 10 games will be enough for Arthur to make significant steps though with these, still some deadwood needs cutting off.

They had 3 tries from refs mistakes , 1 try on top of those that may not have been grounded , we had two goals that went between the sticks .
But do not be fooled , we are still garbage and brain dead with a soft mentality .
Arthur will improve things but there is a limit to what you can do with this lot .
Sinfield needs to play the rest of the season , his defence is far from perfect but will improve , he showed some nice touches tonight and will be the future of which Frawley is not

Sinfield was poor i thought but I’ve no issue with giving him a run of games

| So soft, aren't we? No doubt Arthur will bring some discipline and direction but he'd have to be Harry Potter to turn this lot into a top six team. There's literally only Croft who looks like a true top flight player.

| No wonder Arthur was no where to be seen at the end he's probably on the next flight home.

| I dunno, I just got a lil bit moist watching BA's interview on Sky. I like the way he presents himself and talks.
One of the big jobs he has over the next few months is to consult with Blease on the future of several players, and consider some new additions. His knowledge of NRL players is excellent and he will know who we need. Straight away I'd like us to retain him for 2025, I just think his discipline and experience is exactly what we need right now.
Hopefully we can persuade him. As for the team... honestly I'd be cutting a couple of players early if possible, as well as allowing a couple to leave at contract end this year. Nice to see McDonnell and Miller doing the rounds with the away fans after the game, those two are often last in the sheds after a game. Thought McDonnell was good overall again tonight but then I am a fanboy. We struggled with their big units down the middle again.

Haven’t watched the game on TV yet but initial impression was that he defended well tonight.

Sinfield? He didn’t imo
Look im not bagging the lad he’s still really young and I think we should give him a run of games but in reality he doesn’t actually offer much more than Frawley at this stage, but unless he gets games he won’t progress

| That's the chicken and egg problem with Sinfield. Unless he gets a run of games he won't get a chance to improve, but realistically he's not quite up to scratch yet so he's going to look poor at times and make mistakes he won't in a year or so.
I liked Arthur's interview after the game - we blew it in the first ten minutes with mistakes that pretty much killed the game. I guess the question will be whether current players can improve in those areas or its just who they are and we need different players. Personal view is that unless more than a few players are able to execute the basics better we will need different players. They had their new coach watching and started off like a pub team.

Miller is a class act. Constantly creating space around him. If he was in a decent team, he’d look sensational. He was also a class act after the game. My son and daughter had a picture taken with him, and he thanked all the supporters for going over.
As well as who you mentioned, Mom also came over, before the others.

Yep penny for BA thoughts.. has a big job on his hands in not much time. I can’t believe we’re as bad or if not worse than last season…. It’s absolutely shocking
