| Hope he makes a full recovery it’s a terrible injury but I’m sure he’ll come back even stronger.
I love the way he plays the game, hard and at full speed when he runs the ball.
Speedy recovery fella, hope to see you back on the pitch next season ripping in again

实事求是!: |

| Why is the wigan wakefield game going ahead when ours was postponed?
Wigan now get an artificially easier chance to boost their win percentage against a sitting a duck, an opportunity we were denied.
Just another reason this season is basically a joke.

Who knows. Touch wood he's young and if no ligament damage could be 6 months.
But we just need to hope and pray, as this type of injury can end careers too..
So gutted for the lad......

| Sad evidence again in that last Hull FC try of how much pace Kallum lost in his injury.

| Someone said on here that after the 1 game he'd played that he was still the best centre in the comp.

Fingers crossed for Newman, looked awful and if it is a double break it could be a long time getting back.
Agree with others travelling pretty well at the moment but anything could happen in next few weeks in the crazy fixtures.

Plenty of options although Harry will be a big miss for us.
Could go Broadbent, A Sutcliffe, L Sutcliffe, Mellor and bring Walters through...
Good result again today but Harry is one of the few players we have who can win you a big game by doing something freaky.

| Quote: Jack Burton "How long does this type of injury take to heal? 3-6 months?'"
6 months at best I think. Just reading surgeons report when Henrik Larsson did his tib and fib -:
The fact that both bones in the lower leg - the tibia and the fibula - are broken is not necessarily of great significance.
''The bones are parallel so if you get significant displacement you usually break both,'' Mr Ian Stother, a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Glasgow Royal infirmary, explained last night.
''One of the more important points is that if the skin is not broken, there is little risk of infection.
''The degree of displacement is important because of the extent of injury to soft tissue, like muscle and ligament, which would result. Obviously this is important to a footballer and would dictate how strong the leg became when it healed.''
The usual method of treating a fracture of this sort is to splint the tibia from within using a ''nail'' - a stainless steel rod which is inserted from the top of the bone down through the hollow interior, often retained with screws above and below the fracture.
''That holds the position very well, maintaining the right length and alignment better than a plaster, and the fibula can take care of itself. You can't do it if the break is near one of the joints, but whatever you do the healing process takes several months.
''What you would do with Larsson is put the nail in, have him lying down for a few days to get the swelling down, and then get him up, put some weight on it, and then start to get him moving and get the joints operating. The actual time for the fracture to heal to the point where you can start training, for most people as young and fit as Larsson, would be about six months, although if I were treating someone who did not depend on football for their living, I would tell them not to play for a year. The leg is not going to be up to its full strength for 18 months.''
This was a good few years ago and recovery times might be better now but looks like 6-8 months minimum. He'll be back!

Currently Myler over Walker, but Walker at full fitness every time.
Hurrell and Sutcliffe in centres I’m happy with, especially with Newman injury.
Oledzki, Prior, Seumanufagai, Smith and Holroyd my top forwards, Cuthbertson dropped down pecking order.

He’s always was, for 2 or 3 games per season

Personally i dont see Tommy in the starting 17 every week at moment. Love the kid but he is still a kid and hes going to be a great player for Leeds for a long time but hes still very young and will need taking out from time to time to help build him up. Theres no need to rush him. Hes doing terrific tho. Watched him thru system and was always going to be a star in.my opinion.
Will be no choice between Liam and Hurrell now Harry has gone for tbe foreseeable both will play.
Myler is adding something to the attack right now. Walker is a talent but next stage for him is to develop the passing game a modern day full back needs. Walker is still developing physically and skillwise but ive no doubt he will get there and be outstanding. At moment tho im impressed with Myler at 1 i must say.

Agree Re Walker, Myler playing so well there will actually help his progression IMO as he can learn the passing game from him. I think we tend to forget how young Walker is because he broke through at such a young age.
