LOL at the notion that the Stobart brand wouldn't be recognised in France. I can confirm that Eddie Stobart spotting works almost as well to pass the time on major arterial roads in France, Germany and Belgium (probably elsewhere too, but I haven't driven much elsewhere in Europe) as it does on British motorways.
LOL less at the idea that being northern and working class is something to be ashamed of.
LOL a little more at the idea that it's a sponsor's job to broaden the appeal of the sport.

We used to have competitions to see who could spot most on long car journeys when I were a nipper.
Oh alright, well into my 20s.
My old man always had to try and be clever by counting Norbert Dentressangles instead.
