I expected a similar result tonight and I expect Rhinos to win the GF.

With the best hooker in SL back fully fit, a centre better than Jamie Lyon and the recruit of the season (Eastwood) in SL suggested by some high profile people, then who has a chance of stopping us.

I've been in Australia for the last year and watched a fair bit of NRL and Eastwood is a quality signing, the bulldogs were top of the league for most of the season and Eastwood was a big part of that.

How big was Eastwood when Bulldogs were top of the league though? didn't look fit to me and seems to be carrying some timber but not sure if he always been this size/shape?

After a performance like that against a team tipped to finish bottom (not by me may I add) and you are tipping Leeds to go unbeaten this season.

Did you watch the match in the pub serving free shots and beer all night?

Think a few teams prob thinking they could defeat Leeds after tonight and will have been a boost to the likes of Warrington, Saints and the Bulls.

He's always been that size and shape and it was also his 1st outing of the season.
Like someone posted earlier i think we'll trust the likes of Wayne Bennett,Stephen Kearney and Bluey etc when assessing Eastwood.

All went about according to script for me. No sense of dissapointment with any aspect of it aside from a couple of badly chosen offloads that I'd put down to early season rustiness.

Whilst I thought Crusaders did extremely well and wish them and their support (and even Brian Noble who despite his 'anti Leeds' stance I really rate as a coach and he's a very nice fella) I can't say that at any time it felt like a win looked anything other than inevitable. Only the commentary would give an impression otherwise.

Just to go back to a couple of earlier points -

Danny McGuire's belly - yep I noticed that!

Buderus - I thought his second spell was excellent but I actually thought Diskin was better than his first spell. Having said that my impression was that everyone was playing very much within themselves for much of the first half.

Ali's second try - I wouldn't have given it though its far from unreasonable to say that at some point part of the ball would probably have made contact with the ground.

Yet good enough to play for the Bulldogs week in week out.

I would have thought, as a few teams beat Leeds last year, that they would have been thinking that before last night.

I know my peepers are not what they used to be, but was anyone else having trouble actually seeing the ball last night?

There was also the bizarre effect of Leeds players "vanishing" when they were overlayed with the Sky "on pitch" graphics for 5th tackle.
