I’m a bit old-fashioned and don’t see why the “impact hooker” is a necessity. Some of the best players ever were 80 minute hookers.

Not having to carry a hooker on the bench every game gives some flexibility elsewhere.

Clearly still some chopping and changing to come.

On reflection I'd rather have Dwyer playing against us than for us.

Dwyer would be behind Powell and tommy L, however if the Hastings rumours are true, those 2 may be needed more in the halves.

We all know about Dwyer strengths and weaknesses but at least he can inject some pace into the game off the bench. Myler as back up hooker sounds like another weird project to me. Guess it would free up even more cap though and hopefully get another top overseas forward in

Dwyer is best utilised off the bench where he can make a real impact. I hope he stays with us.
