It does mean, however, that he's appears a pretty busy tackler when he's on the pitch.'"
Two carries in his last spell (approximately 22 minutes) on Friday suggests he was bricking it IMO.   |

You can start with the pages of crass tributes to Ryan Bailey's performance of Friday night. I don't really believe 9 drives for an inconsequential amount of yards to be much of a performance - particularly as one of his opposing props was young Matty Ashurst.
Sure he made a big tackle - whoopy do. He also spent time getting driven back to where he came from in the subsequent sets.
The argument of Bailey's discipline was proved errant by the fact that Wigan fans used to argue the same thing with Terry Newton. The disciplinary committee is a joke shop - inconsistent. It worked in our favour for once, because there was a very strong argument Gilmour should have been banned for striking. |
