Great for kev to win the award. I can understand people questioning it. However, as a club captain he entered 3 competitions, won 2 and got to the final of the other.
Won MOM in the biggest games of the season.

Internationally, he played 4 games, and won them all, 3 as captain. Now, there could be critisim of the internationals this season, but its similar for all teams. You can only beat whats in front of you, and Kev has done this.

The only means of calibrating the relative strengths of the North vs Southern hemisphere this season was the WCC (even with its falws), which Kev played a big part in securing again.

There are lots of ifs, buts and questions, which could be used to discredit the award, but the facts point to Kev deserving the award.

Some Wigan fans need to shut up and sit down. Major honours are none of their concern these days.

What the bitter Wigan fan fails to comprehend is that this is an individual award, it's not about what your team did or didn't achieve, because if that was the case why wasn't he kicking off about Rangi Chase winning MOS, and maybe he should have been complaining about Tomkins winning MOS,
