| Headline in this mornings Yorkshire post regarding lasts nights match by dave craven reads, crisis averted for now!!!. This must be the most be the understatement of the year. I would bet that the EEC politicians would like our dave reporting on the problems of the euro.

| Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Amor a Wakefield player albeit Leeds have an option to re-sign him for 2013 which must be exercised by the end of July? If Leeds don't exercise that option, he has another two years at Wakefield. Sure I remember reading that somewhere when the deal was announced. Hence Leeds couldn't bring him back this season even if they wanted to.

It was a rubbish decision by the touch judge but the penalty was for dissent from Cockayne. If Agar is furious at the officials over that then hes even more stupid than I thought he was. He should be furious at his pathetic winger who couldn't control himself and gave the penalty away and ultimately lost them the game.
Silverwood happily evened it up later on though by penalising Ablett for being hit by Cockayne.

Yes don't think we could get Amor back this season. I don't particulary think Amor would want to come back. He is playing every week and looks to be enjoying actually getting game time

| Another thing that struck me is that you look at the 17s of Leeds and Wakefield before the season and how many Trinity players would get in the Leeds team? Cases could be made for Amor and Lauititi, obviously, but then we had options by which they could have been available. People say Raleigh had a good game, but if you'd looked at him and Griffin at Huddersfield you'd have definitely picked the latter.
In reality only Aiton would have made a joint Leeds/Wakefield team, but then he's an actual NRL-standard hooker and we've obviously no need for them now we've independently reinvented what hookers need to do.
So when a team of proven players have been coached so far backwards that a selection of misfits and journeymen marshalled by the genius that it Richard Agar can put 40 past you on your own patch, I'd tend to disagree with Brian McDermott and Dave Craven that this is "crisis averted".

Have times changed? Our Academy is arguably even better now than it was the night we beat Castleford with them. The major difference is a coach who won't put his faith in them.

We have a 30 man squad and only 2 injuries yet we picked the same old tired out of form players that just sums up how our coach thinks.'"
After seeing last night's game I'm coming around to your pov regarding the coach
Not a single player rested of the 10 who played two days ago.
Puzzling decision to have Sinfield, McGuire, Burrow, Lunt and Ward on the field all at the same time - did the players know what their roles were? It didn't look like they did. I thought McGuire was meant to be injured?
Virtually no structure in attack, which was dependent on one-out rugby and individual brilliance
Not much aggression in defence, which is starting to be reminiscent of 1996. How on earth did they let Tim Smith run through the middle unopposed?!
Some good moments from Hardaker, BJB, Hall, and Ablett.
Putting workhorse Delaney out in the centres when the team were tired in the middle was an odd decision. I thought Clarkson was pretty anonymous again after one semi decent hit-up (was he injured in the second half?), and McGuire gave too much away. Bailey needed to step up and didn't. Hauraki and Griffin seem low on confidence and looked OK if unspectacular going forward when they weren't making errors.
Lunt just isn't being used effectively in the backrow. I would have preferred him to start with Burrow coming off the bench, although this decision may have been influenced by Lunt having more game time for the Knights... Dunno how long he played in that game.

Thats sort of what I was getting at. The coach doesn't have faith in the full squad. Like them or loathe them we should have seen the likes of Singleton & Smith, along with Moore, Kirke & lee Smith. People should only have doubled up as a last resort

Is Liam Hood injured? This seemed like the perfect opportunity for him to get a run out with the first team again, particularly as the other two "hookers" were backing up.

He's learning how to play against men at Halifax.
