| Quote: LS16_Rhino "Just about ok with choices but 2 positions puzzle me
McGuire should have been at 6; Tomkins at 1.....but think others have stated the "rules" meant Tomkins had to be chosen at 6, or not at all.
It is worrying that Wellens can still be considered the best FB in the country in a "dream team".
Much as I admire Senior I would prefer Atkins in the "dream team"....and to think Atkin's another one that we 'let go.'

Sinfield has had a mediocre year. O'Loughl;in has had a great year.
Sinfield remains one of the greats of the game though.

| I've always liked O'Loughlin and never understood why people bag him so much. If we get a decnt halfback partenership and fullback (some combination of Widdop, Eastwood, Tomkins and McGuire) then I'd like to think we could bury the 'ball handling loose forward' idea that hasn't worked in the 30 years I've been watching GB/England get pasted.

Is that the Australian Michael Dobson who currently plays for Hull KR. Have I missed something?'"
Well said tvoc! How any opposition fan can feel they have justification to bag either player just baffles me. O'Loughlin has been outstanding for Wigan this year (as he has been even in poorer teams for some years now). It amazes me that coaches, players and journalists throughout this year have mentioned him as a potential MOS yet some opposition fans (and I stress ONLY opposition fans - go figure!) seem to think they have some greater insight than those who play/coach with and against him or see most, if not all, games he plays. Some people need to take a reality check on the self important view of their own opinions. But, of course, that's only MY opinion!
As for anyone doubting the importance of Sinfield to the Leeds team; have a word with yourselves!

You could make a radio show getting fans to air their views out of this!

How embarrassing, I did know Dobson is Australian and as soon as I saw your post I went 'I knew that'! I am clearly getting myself in a muddle and mixing him up in my brain with someone else in terms of nationality, but can't for the life of me think who!

If he'd been given the game time given to Buderus I am sure he'd have been in there.

Had Diskin been given every second of every game I find it exceedingly hard to believe he would have out-performed Roby and Monaghan this year.

Totally agree. SOL has more pace than Sinfield, the one area where Sinny is distinctly ordinary.

We;ll never know. What we do know is when Buderus broke his leg last year in July and Diskin was given back the pivotal role that had gained us great success we never lost a game, romped to the LLS and the GF.
This year, the Lion's share of the playing time has been Buderus's.

All very true, I suppose I just don't rate him as highly as Roby/Monaghan, but there's no doubting his contribution to Leeds.

You remind me of those x factor contestants that are genuinely shocked when they're confronted with the horrible truth.
Well done at least for the correct use of an apostrophe in relation to Buderus ...although you don't necessarily need the extra " s ...
