Looks like our real issue may be passing to each other at walking pace at a distance of less than a yard.

Thought we were very good tonight, tough team to beat Warrington.

Signing Jack Walker to a new deal at the end of the season seems to be the best business we’ve done in a while, top class. Richie Myler proven a lot of people wrong, he has got a kicking game, he does work very well with Moon.

Good stints from the forwards. Singleton developing into a leader in that pack.

One of the main selling points for Golding last year was his defence - unless McD operates a rotation system he may have to wait for his chance.

Yeah, I thought you looked a well drilled good side tonight, who imo were more comfortable winners than the score suggests.

Felt sorry for young Walker when he missed the bomb because he'd had a blinder up till that point, still deserved the MOTM. Also as you say Myler fitted in really well for you.

Wire for all the hype were a bit underwhelming for me, but that was a lot down to how Leeds played and because they have a fair number of new players settling in. BMM was invisible apart from the last minute, I thought he'd be well up for this game. Saying that at least he wasn't Ratchford, man was he awful along with a couple others for them.

Walker's one on one defense looks to have improved out of sight. Given the improvements Hardaker and Golding made made in this department, it can't just be coincidence.

Myler and Dwyer both impressed on debut. Myler was a bit part player at Catalan last year but looks like he will be given more responsibility at Leeds and looked the part. Early days but encouraging start

Peteru didn't play much. I had a feeling Ormondroyd would knock on, on that carry out of defence. Garbutt & Ward walk back into the 17 at their expense when fit. Delaney played well. Hopefully he can stay fit. I thought our clock management could've been better. There were no grubbers looking for repeat sets and we kept the ball in play when we could've run off 30 seconds here and there. No need for it to get close.

Wasn’t sure about the Myler signing at first but...

I thought him and Moon looked good, I actually think they could be a really good partnership and shifting moon to 6 full time could be a master stroke.

Others that impressed, Walker looks an absolute star to me, thought JJB and Delaney got through tonnes of work, Hall was immense and I think Singleton will come into his own this year. A good start.

Encouraging start, let's not forget this is a fixture we haven't won in the regular season since 2010,

Were without our biggest metre making prop and key 2nd rower so room to add along with gelling of the pivots.

Delaney's injury record is a doubt but when he plays he performs and that gets overlooked too much. Great to see the often try starved Hall start the year off with two....80m not bad for a "fat" winger.

Remember the Atkins vs Watkins debate icon_lol.gif

How their last try was awarded with that push on Myler is a mystery.

We looked like a team with a plan and some parts were executed well. A few too many penalties conceded as our defence tired is natural, I suppose. Warrington's attack and last tackle options were generally awful and as for Atkins...I was also glad to see the ball in Westwood's hands at the death.
I thought Myler did fairly well for about an hour/65 mins before fading though in fairness that coincided with our pack's grip beginning to waver a bit.
The players' attitude stood out for me. They had a look of determination about them. Without that we'd be looking at a defeat.
Decent start.

That was a solid performance for a first hit out. We should have killed the game off earlier mind, when at 16-6 we had all that play around the hour mark in their red zone. I think it flattered Wire to have taken the game down to the last play.

Thought we defended superbly and ground it out as we do better than any other SL team.

Really pleased with Myler's performance overall. He defended well, organised the team and looked good.

Jack Walker is pure class. So much time when he has the ball. Safe under high ball in difficult conditions and his last line of defence was a big factor in us getting the W. He is sensational.

Unbelievably nobody has mentioned Ryan Hall's try. When was the last time we saw that from him? He's a great winger.

The pack worked hard. Singo and Ablett very good for me.

A good win and 2 points at Elland Rd next week equals an excellent start.

Happy with that, thought there were some real good signs and our new signings did well.

Myler really impressed me, nice kicking game and love how he takes the ball right to the line before releasing the pass out the back, it draws defenders to him and gave us quite a few overlaps down our left side. Think moon will have a field day playing alongside him this season.

Dwyer did well with a few scoots and a lovely pass to get hall away...And defended in the middle, which will be the big advantage he'l give us over rob imo.

Peteru didnt get much game time but looked hard to deal with on his few carrys and defended pretty well, looks a good athlete for his size.

Thought we were comfortabley the better team, much more than the scoreline suggests, hall and walker the standouts in a good team effort for me. With ward, garbutt, galloway, ferres and oledzki not used last night we should be carrying a strong 17 even with a few injuries this season. Happy

I thought we looked very sharp & determined defensively.
Singleton lead the pack well but the 2 stand outs were Walker & Myler in an all roud good Team display.
The win was well deserved & the scoreline flatered them imo.
On to Bentham i thought he was very inconsistent & it's very frustrating when replays show wrong calls before play has restarted.
In that scenario the VR should be free to tell them it's the wrong call.
