| Probably not but will you lot blow your best chance of the SL crown or could it be your year? I'm going for a Saints v Wire final and your dismal record against them to continue. Sorry!

| It looks very likely that some Whipping Boy Rabble clubs could actually make the top 8 play off's this season at the expense of a couple of the regular play off contenders
Hull FC and the Dragons could both be serious challenger's for honours this season despite being in Whipping Boy Rabble category for long enough,
Whilst other Whipping Boy Rabble sides that have no chance of actually winning the GF like Tigers,Widnes,Salford and Hull KR could all finish above the Whino's and the Midget's this season
But it's still early days and I certainly wouldn't be surprised to see some of these Whipping Boy Rabble clubs dropping off the pace when the going gets tough

Pretty cocky from a Wigan fan given you just got beat 62-0 by Wakefield! At least we took them to the last minute

You might finally be right Phil, although your tipping at end of last season andd start of this year has been pretty ropey. Please tip us to go down

| Say we are in the middle eights this year (looks likely) and if we won the challenge cup, when would we fit the SL game in hand in? Because we would still have a place in the WCS but we would also enter the CC a round earlier.

Are you familiar with rlPythagorean expectationrl?
Vertical height from top to bottom is the order of the actual table. Horizontally from right to left is what the table 'should' look like, based on jiggering about with points difference.
The best exponent I have found for top flight British RL is 1.79.
But for their, up to the weekend, excellent defence Wigan would be down there with you.

| I've added this year's points ranges to the points per game plot
And the current rate of points acquisitionhttp://i.imgur.com/nQU0I1x.png" >
So at the moment between 0.9 to 1 point per game required overall to hit 8th position. And that's overall, not the remaining games.
Let's say it's one point per game. Twenty three games overall, four points in the bag right now. 19 points from thirteen remaining games. That's an improvement from 0.4 ppg to 1.4 ppg required to hit that target.
Slightly lower of course because if you do start winning at the required rate then the win rate of the teams above you has to come down to accommodate that. Still, that's a daunting task.

| Nothing personal. They'd be in Huddersfield colours and on their forum too if the buggers could take a joke.

| All previous Leeds SL seasons in grey. This season in red.
(Again, nothing personal. I have done this for everyone)
