Yes the correct spelling of Richie Eyres sometimes catches people out. Not sure he was quite the biggest name in the game though.

Inspired selections (although it's Schultz) and the Leatham spelling is interesting. Jim's brother Andy played for St Helens at the the same time and into early SL, yet he spelt his name Leathem. I never could get my head around that one unless it was another 'Dunneman' type lucky shirt. On the other hand they might not have been brothers and I just made that bit up. |
