Good luck getting out of that hole.
Unfortunately in your case you have a bigger one than Danny. You displayed your serious lack of knowledge of not only the game, but talent of players during the week.
And whilst I dont like to gloat, with regards to Lee Smith, you can kiss my hairy buttocks.

I spoke to Leroy Rivett and Gary Connolly and they agreed.
I was going to ask Matt Diskin but he was unavailable to comment so I will wait until Buderus arrives.
I never said Smith didn't have talent, I said he was easily replaceable. He is. The right winger from Saturday night can do a decent job and we do have a fairly competent full back at the club.
I'll repeat what i said before (because comprehension isn't your strong point). I desperately hope we don't have to replace him but, if we do, we will do so easily.

| I'd argue that Leeds may well have won the GF in 2004 under Powell. The foundations were there for Smith when he took over and he fine tuned the team to glory in that great season.
Or am I mistaken????

| At the start of the season I felt although highly motivated leeds were too in disciplined to win anything.
I kept this opinion through most of the season.
But, [uI was wrong[/u.
The team and McClennan did a fantastic job of turning things around from 2 weeks ago, but also peaking for both the WCC and the Grand final, we are the first team to do that.
They deserve all the accolades and will no doubt enjoy some serious boozing

Quote El Barbudo="El Barbudo"Finding the thread took about two minutes but, sadly no, I didn't read all of it, I don't have that kind of time available.
Are you saying you were just trolling? ... yes, that must be it.
Anyhow, here it is ... viewtopic.php? ... sc&start=0'"
Shall I help you out here Shag?
OK.
1. Tony Smith's departure is announced.
2. A huge thread follows as to who the next Leeds coach ought to be.
3. The Great And All-Knowing AP suggests 'Bluey'.
4. This is followed by sundry substandard ts screaming [i"Who the hell is Bluey?"[/i
5. In-the-know (no, really) Oldham Rhino then pops up with [i"Is it Wayne Pearce?"[/i
6. The Great AP finally reveals who Bluey is to all the substandard ts.
7. Sundry substandard ts then poo-poo the idea of Bluey McLenon, McLemon, McLennan, McLelland, MacLellon, Mclenan, etc... as a credible coach for the Leeds Rhinos because he has no club coaching experience.
8. The Great AP responds with a list of Bluey's club coaching achievements in the NZ Bartercard Cup, along with him coaching the Kiwis to an unparallelled Tri Nations Final win against the unconquerable Kangaroos in 2005.
9. Sundry substandard ts however continue to poo poo the idea of Bluey as a potential Leeds coach on the grounds that his Tri Nations success with the Kiwis is no substitute for a credible club coaching CV, and his Bartercard Cup experience doesn't count for much. They'd rather get Brian McDermott, or David Furner, and some even suggest Paul Cullen is a better alternative and is in the frame!
..... <several months then pass by>
Then...!
10. Rumours abound that Bluey is in the frame for the vacant Leeds coaching position.
11. Sundry substandard ts start to sit up and take notice but they are still spelling his surname incorrectly and know sweet FA about him because naturally, they are clueless substandard, one-club supporting ts.
12. Hetherington announces that Brian 'Bluey' McClennan has been appointed as the next Leeds Rhinos coach.
13. Sundry substandard ts on hearing this news, after previously poo pooing the idea of him as a credible coach, suddenly perform a reverse backflip with twisted pike because Hetherington told them to do that
14. Brian 'Bluey' McClennan is suddenly the best thing since sliced bread was invented... he must be because Hetherington has appointed him, and as any wise and knowledgeable RL supporter knows, a one-club-supporting, one-CEO-supporting, substandard t will always bow down in sycophantic fashion to anything their hero CEO says or does and all become Peter Smith of the YEP Wannabes <guffaw>.
15. Bluey is now the King... the coach who destroyed the Kangaroos in the 2005 Tri Nations... and that's now good enough for the ts. His club coaching record in the NZ Bartercard Cup is also a danm fine record of achievement all of a sudden
16. The Great AP now responds to all this sudden, sycophantic admiration for Bluey and his coaching appointment by poo pooing Bluey's appointment in true substandard t fashion for a laugh... he's got no credible club coaching background... a Tri Nations win over the Kangaroos is irrelevent. etc.
17. Sundry substandard ts respond in their typical clueless fashion and are easily roped in by AP. AP knows nowt! AP would criticise any Hetherington appointment! Bluey is a fantastic appointment! Bluey is great! We still can't spell his name properly though.
18. Then one substandard t falls for AP's trap yesterday and dredges it all up again... bwahahahahahahaha
Is it any clearer now t?
No?
Thought not.

Fx,Guffaw, HTH, No really.
You're done shag. You're lame. You should be put out of your misery.
Your food supply has dried up. Your targets are all winners, Hetherington, Sinfield, and the mighty Leeds Rhinos.
Move on to pastures new. Try the Bulls board or even the Wigan board.
You're yesterday's news.
BTW, whilst you were being asked who Bluey was (not by me I hasten to add) did you ask who Gary Thornton was or where Shaw Cross Was?

Barbudo is a substandard t and nobody should ever apologise for highlighting the truth. No amount of bourgeois, assiettes of anchovies consuming bluster from him will ever alter that fact.
Have you binned all your [i'Tony Smith Is Great'[/i and McClemon isn't in the same tactical coaching class posts yet... in anticipation of the defeat you expected on Saturday yet Shag?
Thought so
Quote G1="G1 two weeks ago"The players are not the problem. They're the same players who owned St Helens last year.

I thought he was our greatest ever coach? Wasn't that what was proclaimed on here in March/April time?
********
I made a statement. An accurate statement. I said these are the same players. They are. I didn't say they weren't different. They are different. They're clueless when playing Saints this year. Why is that?
********
Of the Grand Final team only Toopi was unavailable to Mclennan for selection last night. Added to which he had avilable Burgess, Gibson and Watkins as genuine 1st team options which Smith didn't have.
Keep making excuses.
********
Why do you give Mcl;ennan such leeway
********
Still plenty of excuse making for McLennan.'"
Oh, sorry.....
You were working to a certain agenda there weren't you?
An agenda where you couldn't lose no matter what the result was on Saturday?
The lame ts in here will believe you Shag.
And remember.... that's all that counts, eh?
I prefer all the ts to never ever believe me
