And I hope the team are thinking the same, basically we need to try and win every game and concentrate on it week by week, its simple, win more games than we lose in the last 9, Agar is correct its in their own hands, FWIW I think we will stay up as long as we keep defending like we have, there was a couple of tomes on Friday where cats were on our line and we kept them out, that wouldn’t have happened even a few weeks ago

Mcd used to have a good system where the squad focused on four game blocks. Anything longer than that just has too many variables.

There is 4 points minimum for us over the next four games.

Crazy thing is if (and I’m not saying we will) but if we won the next 4 games, and other results go our way, we could actually be looking at targeting the top 5 - again I don’t think we will.

The way this seasons gone I wouldn’t dismiss such thinking. Bar Sts & Warrington everyone’s beating everyone else and FC surely must be able to iron out the inconsistencies sooner than later to join the top two group.

Exactly my thoughts too,It's almost nailed on for Saints to win the GF as they are by far the best side.
Warrington will also fancy getting to the GF as they are currently 2nd best by a decent margin before even mentioning Hull FC

Although we've seen before that clear stand out sides don't always smoke the winners cigar, could the ghost of 2017 rear its ugly head again and p155 all over Saints' bonfire like when the Rhinos sent the Tigers home in floods of tears?

Whist at the bottom of the table from Cas who are currently 4th in the table (Who are closer to the relegation battle than being in the top 2). Then they're only 6 points in front of Rhinos,Giants,Hull KR & London who are all currently level bottom on points and Cas could still yet be either champions or being relegated

Agreed. Bar the top two at the moment most money would rightly go on them taking out silverware, Im going to say I think theres going to be a twist in the tail before the end of the season trophies are handed out with one of these front runners being caught out. Whether if thats by FC finally pushing on or whether its an end of season Goons grind-a-thon masterclass Im not sure , as for the lower half, its just a total crapshoot, whos going to string a few games together or go into freefall? any of the teams from 6th downwards I think are in danger (though probably NOT Salford) its a total nail biter.

To be fair they were by far the best side by a distance last year as well if I remember and they bottled it in the semi and didn't even make the final so be interesting to see if they can make it count this year
