| Handley scores a lot of his tries from Hurrells offloading too.. he’s also such a magnet for opposing players he creates room outwide.. I’d most definitely keep him at centre

| Agree. Hurrell, especially at right centre is an opposing centres nightmare. You can bet he is first on the oppositions tip sheet every week. Also worth noting that his handling errors and defence have improved dramatically since moving to the right. Sutcliffe on the other hand, is pedestrian in pace, very limited in footballing ability and not powerful enough to smash his way over. If you really want to move Hurrell to the pack why not give Broadbent a shot?

| If Hurrell moves to the pack and is not a big success it should be his last season or he takes a big pay cut on his next contract.

His girlfriend needs to support him, or stay in Oz.'"
He’s confirmed he’s left

Shame but we understand.
We need a quality replacement. Or we cope with Prior playing more at prop and Cam Smith playing 80 mins at loose (hes capable) until someone comes up mid season.....

Or we start Prior at loose then move him up to prop and bring Smith on at loose. This worked well last season.Smith is wasted at second row.

| Well, as I’ve said we’re a little further ahead with this signing but losing Ava is a blow. I don’t like Prior at prop, especially early game - he is far more effective roaming at loose and has a great pass on him.
Can do a job at prop but we’re still short of high quality specialist front rowers. We need to sign another starting prop for me.

Not sure where you get the Agar wanting Hurrell in the 2nd row from , that would be barmy !

There was a YEP interview with Hurrell where he said he'd happily play anywhere as Newman and Sutcliffe went well at centre last year.
Whether it's just filler for the paper or more than that God knows. I guess if Agar is going to be left with only 3 props inc Prior plus Holroyd, he can't play Prior at LF, so Hurrell to 2nd row and Martin to LF may be the type of thing he has to look at to rebalance what he has.
Think Tetevano will be a good signing for us, but like most think we need another proper prop.
As for Cameron Smith, for mine he is simply too small for prop.

| One thing we are not short of is back rowers (although I am waiting with trepidation over the future of Walters..). Just don’t see the need to put Hurrell in the middle.
He needs to play RHS for me inside Briscoe, simples.
L Sutcliffe needs to do a lot for me at LHS centre before Newman comes back to retain a place in the side. Happy to be proven wrong.
Big year for our young players. We need a few to take a step forwards.
Being positive there is still time to snag another top line prop from somewhere over the next 4-6 months when it will still count.

| Dont know how long the club have been planning for ava leaving but for me it isn't that much of a stretch to see us bringing in someone else.i highly doubt it will be a top quality signing though.

| Can Smith is the same height at Cuthbo (183cm), and 4 kg lighter at 101kg vs 105kg. It’s not a massive difference.
It must get not be on the cards, but it wouldn’t surprise me due to his handling ability. It could be a master stroke if we got our game built around the handling of our forwards like we used to do.

Weight isn't everything it's about how explosive you are, not sure Smith is to take it up the middle.

What do you mean the future of Sam Walters?
