It looks rubbish because we are seeing how they are playing, which to be frank is rubbish. On paper, it isn't as bad, and to an oppossition fan it wouldn't be bad. If you started the season again, not knowing how poor we are, and compared that squad to other squads on paper, you would be backing us every time.

But as you say, the fact is they are playing rubbish, and without the good players to hide the lesser ones, it's a problem.

Other teams who we used to think we should be beating always raise their game against us . We now have reached that level where we are one of those lower clubs who rely on effort and team spirit when playing against a team better than us on paper. I've yet to see that from Leeds ,just once if I thought they had shown effort and team spirit for 80 minutes I would walk out thinking at last we are making progress

Newman - prefer him at centre but he'd give his all to any role and Briscoe just fills me with dread
Watkins - he's miles off but he won't be dropped and I hope he returns to something like soon

Lolohea- at least he's got some form of a kick and passing game. He does though leave grave concerns defending his edge. Straight swap for Sutcliffe if this persists and I've not seen enough from him but even Mclelland, exuberance of youth and he does like a tackle.
