Ah, does he not play a bit of centre too i'm sure i've seen that. Anyway, he would be a good player for any SL club if it's not us picking him up.

He may have had the very occasional game in the centres but he's definately not a recognised centre (great winger though). Maybe it was Josh you saw playing and didn't realise

Is an easy mistake to make
No, i remember now i had a quick look on the roosters forum the other day to see their reaction to Hall signing. Someone mentioned Brett Morris was also on their radar and that he could go centre for them. He would probably be a gun centre in SL, i would rather play him there than have him on the wing outside somebody bang average and be wasted like Hall has been for a few years now.

I agree and Tom Johnstone would also be my preferred long term choice, although a large transfer fee would have to be paid
Although the club did receive £150,000 for Hardaker, so unless that money has gone into the stadium coffers then it would surely cover the fee.
Brett Morris would also be a good option albeit a short term one for a couple of seasons.
Brett's dad Steve "Slippery" Morris actually played for Leeds RLFC back in 1987/88 so there is a connection there (Not sure how to find the photo, but there's one of Slippery with his 2 twin sons on the Headingley pitch during his time here,I think it was in the YEP)

| Imo i think the perfect replacement for Hall would be Antonio Winterstein at NQL cowboys he's a big strong winger got a good try scoring record a seasoned professional in NRL and wants to switch to Super league also got a good international record with Samoa i hope he is one of our targets to replace Ryan Hall.

| The wing positions are the least of our problems even with Hall leaving, Im honestly not that bothered if Luke Briscoe is Halls replacement (young British player excelling in the championship)
I really wouldn’t be breaking the bank to sign a winger, in fact when was the last time that happened in n RL? Offiah?

| I have only seen Luke Briscoe's Leeds games, but he looks ok going forward, and has a good try scoring record at Championship level. Where he looked suspect was under the high ball, a vital part of the wingers game. I have read others criticise Hall for this. To me he is as good as any winger in SL under the high ball. We should have made more of this on attack over the years than we have. His strength in clearing our lines when under pressure is also irreplaceable from within the current squad.
Good luck to him in Aus, I think he will do well. Makes a change for a Brit to head down under to finish off their career rather than vice versa.

That'll add a few grand to his transfer fee.

Does the High Ball problem run in the Briscoe family ?

he has been good this year, but still never lived up to the billing, never looked like the world beater he looked at Hull. never been an improvement over BJB
