Not Wigan area. And like I said, one offs. Wigan are taking players each and every year from this local area. Like I said do's my head in.

| Gotcha I have watched all the 16s games and my son plays under 15s so pretty much have seen all the players in Div 1 of the Yorkshire league, I would say the only real stand out player imho whom Wigan got over Leeds is Morgan Smithies.
Leeds managed to get pretty much everyone they went for inc poaching players from Lock Lane from under Cas noses and if anyone hasn't been to see the 16s play yet really should, This team beat the apparently unbeatable Warrington U16s pretty convincingly this with I think 8 Under 15s in the team.
Fixture to defiantly go to for me is the next one Leeds V Cas I think is at Headingley a week on Wednesday

Ive seen plenty of our U16's and they are potentially another very good batch in particular Tommy Holdroyd Kieden Hartley Owen Trout & a 9/Centre who's names escape me at this moment.

Not sure what you mean in the bold bit but if I understand correctly the 2 in the centre are Jack Broadbent ( u15 ) and Harry Newman ( u16) the 2 Hookers are Corey Johnson (u15 ) and Eddie Wilcox ( u16 )
The Cas fixture is showing as 19:00 at Stanningley but I was under the impression it was to be played at Headingley

| See the 16s went to City of Hull Academy and put 60 points on them last weekend, off the back of the 19s putting 60 on Warrington
Fingers crossed the club can convert some of this promise into developing players for the first team. Of the regulars in the 19s, a number are going to be too old in 2017 - Nathan Barker, Tommy Brierley, Sam Hallas, Billy McDermott, Joe Sanderson for example - so it will be a much younger side next year.

A somewhat one sided game V COH Academy - Hull played a lot of 14 year olds due to a misunderstanding and Leeds sent the older ones from their age category, so the one sided score was a reflection of that. You have some talented kids in that side though

What a load of rubbish that is. The under 16's are made up of the under 15's and under 16's. Those whose birthdate is after that game, could potentially be only 14, although I doubt many if any will have been that age. Leeds had many under 15's in their side, yes it did also contain under 16's but many under 15's too. If you had more than one at 14 in your side I would be very surprised.

Just going off what Hutchie on the Hull board said - as he is a junior coach and has kids playing in the academy - what he posted is below[i"U15s were well beaten by a strong Leeds team, 60 odd 6 I think. Leeds had a mainly U16 team out, and their forwards very dominant, led by no 8 big Tom Holdroyd whose only 15 and No 11 Muizz Mustapha who put in quite a few physical hits. No 4 Jack Broadbent was pick of the outside backs. Hard game for any of our lads to shine, but we picked up with the introduction of Jordan Webster off the bench at 9 and credit to one of my lads Ryan Dearing , no 15 who had to play at prop which isn't his usual role against a very physical team"[/i
Someone then questioned why Leeds played their Under 16's against our Under 15's....................
[iThey are all classed as u16, for this year COHA are running 2 teams so one is mainly u15 lads. Was told Leeds thought they were playing the other team, hence why brought a strong squad. At this level it's all about learning and development so although a tough game it will show character and other things for the coaches to look at how the lads handle a more physical challenge I reckon[/i

And Hutichie is wrong on that second paragraph bit. But correct that it is under 15's and and under 16's together. But of course he didn't say anywhere they were 14 year olds. Under 15's is the school year that started September 2015.

I apologise for presuming that Under 15's, was 14/15 year olds
