That's not what you originally said though is it? You said he'd eventually move into the driving seat. He may be able to force his way in, but at 25 I would say he needs to be playing more minutes than he's likely to be offered at Leeds. And whilst all players continue to learn and improve over their career, I would say that at 25 he should be near enough at his prime. He can't afford to wait to get minutes under his belt.

I agree he could pick up a lot from the way things are done at Leeds, and particularly from the experience of Lowes, but I think you need to play games to significantly improve

FWIW, he may still end up as understudy at Hudds, and that would be a bad step backwards. If I was going to be an understudy, I'd prefer it to be at the champions with the players they have, than the giants, with their mid-season meltdown mentality

OTOH, there's a reasonable chance he'll get half a season. If he starts the season as second choice hooker he'll be promoted when Hudds' drops out and vice versa. Maybe he's literally a glass half full type of player.

Obviously Sinfield decided Lunt might get ideas above his station next season if on equal full employed status.

McShane will get his WCC match until Lunt is loaned again.

Who said we were great shakes? 2012 has been my most unsatisying season as a season ticket holder. We put together half a dozen key performances which meant winning 2 out of our 3 finals we played in.

What do Huddersfield Giants and Felix Baumgartner have in common? Both perform within zero atmosphere.

Cool! What did the trophies for your double look like? Our SL and World Club champion trophies are all silver and shiny and stuff.

they both start off well and get into a high position, but then comes the freefall to a much lower level without really doing anything of note.

You hit your purple patch at the start of the season so who's the numpties? I don't recall them dishing out medals in March but if they did you'd be right up there! Well done.
They were giving out medals in February, August and October and we managed to turn up for all 3 ceremonies!
