It would have been a couple of years before that as it was before doug laughton joined if it was the game we were leading at half time, 10-6 iirc

If the result was 6-48 it'll have been 1994.

1990.
Which coincided with an era when we played the game at a higher standard.
The result was 10-22 BTW.
Leeds performance that day was excellent.

Yep. Alan Tait scored near the end.
ET and Alfie Langer scored hat-tricks for the Aussies.

| Well even though the result wasnt great I thoroughly enjoyed my first Super League experience. I stood in the South Stand, and it was quite unusual being able to stand and watch the match with a beer in hand. Although I heard mutterings in the crowd that the atmosphere was poor and the performance of the Rhinos even worse it didnt spoil my night. I will definately be back soon.
PS. Did anyone see one of the Rhinos (sorry not sure who it was) nip over the boards into the empty stand behind the posts with the trainer and go behind the scaffolding. What was he doing? Just a toilet break I presume.
Anyway im off now to check the fixtures and arrange my next trip to see the Rhinos.

It was Kallum Watkins, and yes we spotted it. Think he went for a number 2 as well, unless he normally pulls his shorts all the way down for a wee. He's only young so maybe he still does. Don't know who's job it is to clean that up.
Glad you enjoyed it. Results like that happen. Don't let it stop you coming back!

Without digging out the programme, Leeds players I remember were Roy Powell, Paul Harkin, John Gallagher, Paul Medley, oh memoris not what it used to be. For Aus I remember, Lazarus, Sironen, Roach, Bella, Ellias, Maninga and Langer?
Real good game it was, Leeds did themselves proud, infact we could of won it.'"
(Paul Medley) I mean't Paul Dixon, had his face in my mind, how could I forget Schoey!! Doh, must appologise. Hard to beleive it;s 21 years ago....
